More fucking immigration bullshit. I finally got all the forms that the school told me that I needed and gave them to immigration, but then immigration told me there was another form that I need to give them. This time I've contacted the company I'm going to work for for help, but now I'm basically just sitting waiting for an email, hopefully with some kind of document attached that I can just print out and give in to immigration, but more likely will be some complicated series of steps that I need to perform.

The deadline is either today or Monday as well; I'm not sure which since there's various conflicting dates stamped on this form that immigration gave me. I'm not sure what even happens if I miss the deadline, does my visa application fail? Then what? I've tried to do everything that was asked of me and do it as quickly as possible, and asked for help whenever I didn't understand so if it the application fails then the whole process is just fucking bullshit.

On top of that, I have to move out of this apartment in 3 weeks now. The company still hasn't told me exactly where I'm going to work (because they can't until after the visa application is finished), so I've just had to find somewhere with good rail access and hope that it's not too far. Now with all these stupid delays, the visa application process probably won't even be completed until after I move. Meaning I'll have to come all the way back from Tokyo to Kyoto (7 hour bus journey because I can't afford the train) to complete it.

Fuck paperwork, just stamp my fucking passport or whatever.

Just reading the PC vs Console stuff our MS guy thinks that the XBone will be the last XBox. With Windows 10 coming to the Xbox he thinks the next gen will just be your choice of PC Hardware with Windows 10 install and the Xbox software installed. And a PC rating in XBox will pick the settings suitable to your hardware. So the next XBox will likely be something like the Alienware Alpha with standard PC components so you can upgrade.

True, but for casuals it will always be console over PC. No chance in hell my friends would play PC online at home alone on a Skype connection, but challenge them to a FIFA tournament on the PS and it is fucking on

Sony will probably end up purely streaming, through smart TVs or Playstation TV. It works now with older games, no reason why it can't with new games.

Something I don't have to worry about upgrading for 4-5 years. My current PC is older than that because just about the time I would normally have upgraded, my son was born and I gave up games for a few years, now I fancy getting back into it a little bit.

Actually its to rip blu-rays onto the server smartarse, but I rarely do that anymore, but its always worth having the option.
