I really can't understand how they manage to get through school and college and even University without knowing some basic information.

I got given a radio from a supplier (made by Roberts) and I commented on the fact that it had a royal seal (warrant) on the box. He would not believe me that the royal family issues seals for suppliers etc, he had never heard of the custom and thought I was making it up.

Another girl couldn't point at Spain on a map and though it was in the west somewhere...so presumably somewhere in the North Atlantic ocean.

They all seem to think they know it all too, fucking morons.

I just don't get it, do schools not bother teaching any more?

If you do Geography at school today, you can learn all the types of rock and you can learn about the Brazilian rainforest, and you can learn about different types of countries (Developing developed etc) but you don't learn anything else.

Blame the national curriculum.

In the age where everyone has unlimited access to pretty much all the information possible I am amazed people can be so dumb.

Most people just don't give a fuck; my wife worked in the travel business for twenty years and still doesn't have a clue where countries are but she can navigate entirely by airport codes.

Not personally but my Mum broke her finger. All they do is strap two fingers together and tell you to come back later for an xray. Nothing they can do you can't do yourself. Just strap it up and give it 2 months to fix.

Definitely worth getting it X rayed. Just in case you haven't got a parasitic alien growing out of your finger

Some right on cunt on Facebook saying that tube drivers have a tougher deal than doctors.

What the actual fuck.

Tube drivers get paid 40k -50k a year to sit on their arse for 9 hours a day, check a mirror now and again and press a button. have a stupid amount of holiday (43 fucking days!) and basically mooch about whining about how hard done by they are so they must bag a few more days off by striking.

Doctors get paid around the same amount to save lives (after a few years, entry level they get around 25k ffs), with longer hours and a fuck ton more stress, you don't see them striking.

Fire all tube drivers, replace them with a PC.
