Your film of the year for 2014 was Ninja Turtles. I think you have some serious quality control issues that need addressing and then you won't have so much shit to watch.
Imaging what i feel like. Damn it. I got loads of shit to play and watchBit random and not so much annoying i guess, but i think i have to accept i can't play/watch every media that's coming out.
The amount is rather ridicilous, not that it's a bad thing to have choices, but even looking at the backlog of tv shows/games/movies i got now is daunting, even as unemployed.
The thing is, you have to start cutting out some really good stuff as well.
Everyone is different. They like different stuff. One mans meat is anothers poisonYour film of the year for 2014 was Ninja Turtles. I think you have some serious quality control issues that need addressing and then you won't have so much shit to watch.
Watch what you like but don't complain that you have too much stuff to watch when you watch such dross.
I'm not basing my "argument" (and it's not even an argument, just an observation) on anything of the sort. For Ninja Turtles to be in an adult's top 3 movies of last year must mean that the threshold for what is considered good is ridiculously low (unless you're 12). Ergo, because your bar is so low, you enjoy watching stuff that others don't bother with or think is shit. Ergo, you have too much to watch. And anyway, if you watch so much stuff it stands to reason that you watched a lot of films in 2014. So yeah, you watched a lot of films and then picked Turtles in your top 3. I shudder to think of the quality of the films that it beat to that spot.

The Lego Movie received critical acclaim from critics. Review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes reported a 96% approval rating with an average rating of 8.1/10 based on 200 reviews. The website's consensus reads, "Boasting beautiful animation, a charming voice cast, laugh-a-minute gags, and a surprisingly thoughtful story, The Lego Movie is colorful fun for all ages." On Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 based on reviews from critics, the film has a score of 83 (indicating "universal acclaim") based on 43 reviews. According to CinemaScore polls conducted during the opening weekend, the average grade cinemagoers gave The Lego Movie was A on an A+ to F scale. Filmmaker Edgar Wright and TIME Magazine film critic Richard Corliss have respectively named The Lego Movie as one of their favorite films of 2014.
Seeing any differences in the language used? Even the most positive review I could find of Turtles said "basically brainless but intermittently adrenalizing, mostly-just-for-kids reboot" whereas The Lego Movie is very intentionally for all ages (if anything, it was made more for adults than children).Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles received generally negative reviews from critics, with the criticism around the acting performances, fast pacing, poorly produced CGI and the generic story and characters, with several critics making negative comparisons to the The Amazing Spider-man. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds an approval rating of 21% based on 131 reviews, with a rating average of 4.2/10. The site's critical consensus reads: "Neither entertaining enough to recommend nor remarkably awful, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles may bear the distinction of being the dullest movie ever made about talking bipedal reptiles." On Metacritic, the film has a score of 31 out of 100, based on 33 critics, indicating "generally unfavorable reviews". Audiences polled by CinemaScore gave the film a B grade on a scale of A to F.
Fucking hell, calm down. I am not (and was not) arguing with anything.
I haven't once said that. I have repeatedly said you can watch what you like, I was offering you a solution to your "too much media to consume" problem....who thinks people should watch ratings and not choose their own stuff...
Nope. People can like what they like. I only take umbrage when people are factually incorrect.Unless it's something different then the likes of callous and Scouse like, then it's sh*t and for retards.
People who moan at you about their own mistakes.
But Toht, don't you quite often say stuff like "its just popcorn action where you dont have to think" about generally considered shit movies (spiderman, transformers, turtles). Which basically means you could narrow down what you watch, searching for movies that engages the watcher(not porn!), as you say yourself they are not particulary good.
YESSSSS A FACEPALM!
I think we should all do a social experiment, let's all ignore @old.Tohtori and see if he argues with himself
