Anyway, I gave in and got the exact same thing from the .DE Amazon. Magically the price had doubled.

Why don't you ask one of us to buy it and then PayPal the money over?

You can still smoke in bars and restaurants in Japan. I don't really mind it when I'm just drinking, but it's kinda annoying to have some guy smoking next to me while I eat; I can't taste my fucking food any more.

Its not Amazon, its local distie exclusivity agreements, which should be illegal in the EU, but strangely aren't.

hmm that reeks of things that make commercial sense while ultimately making me want to rage. like the same film being released on different dates in different countries.

Phone them up and tell them to piss up a rope, they will probably offer you a discount.

Or just go elsewhere, loyalty is worth nothing with insurance companies and the like.

Our house insurers wanted to charge £500 a year for contents insurance. Just switched insurers and laughed when they tried to beat the £150 quoted by a different crowd.

Its part of their business model to increase your rate every year and hope you cba to switch or query it. Most cover and service provided is pretty much identical anyway.

Been quoted £570 ish with Allianz, just gonna go with that lot and do it online so they don't try and rope me in with anymore add ons.

I've got absolutely fuck all allegiance to any scumbag insurance company, this will be my third in the last three years.

Aye they seemed to have come out of nowhere over the last year like, at least on the UK market. Looks like I'm gonna be paying £570~ for a 7 year old Mazda3 (finally getting a 'new' car, yay!) with 6 years driving experience and 4 years no claims.

Hasting Direct can suck a fat one.

Just went on the Refused website to get some merch for my brothers birthdeh cos he loves dem, I threw a tshirt in - so was a vinyl, and 2 tshirts, packaging came to £10.

It's through Kings Road Merch which only a warehouse in Germany, issue is though, when you go on their website, it says YAY, Click on where you live so we can give it in your currency and so we can see what we have in stock near you!

Oh, it's coming from Germany.

£10 though? - Bit steep? I've ordered like 5 tshirts from the states before and it came to £4.

Depedns what they are using as a carrier and when they say it will be there., but if you want shit from there you are hostage to their prices

Bet that was a while ago. Wouldn't dare order merch from the states now with all the tax and 'handling charges' that get put on, normally adds up to over another tenner.

Something like steam has a pretty cheap system.

@Gwadien you can always find someone in germany, ask them to order and send it if you think you can get it cheaper.

I was thinking that, but then they'd have to order it to their house, then order it out again, which would be pretty expensive.

True. It it's only that palce you can order it from, then it's most likely a case of "suck it up".

For a bday present anyway so they have a bit of a buffer for bs costs ;)

Had some bad salmon yesterday for lunch and for the past 36 hours I've pretty much felt like death would be a pretty good option. To make things worse, I have to hand in my exam synopsis tomorrow morning, and I am totally blank. No clue what I to talk about at the exam. I am still feeling rough as shit and running back and forth to the toilet

cant even rant properly. Just wanna go to bed but have to do exam stuff

bleh :(

A couple of years ago I ordered a mouse from a large company in Sweden, at the same time I ordered 3-4 books from Amazon in the UK. I needed the mouse fast because my old one was broken and barely worked at all. Figured it would take 1-2 days to get the mouse. I got the books in 4 days and it took two weeks to get the mouse. It's all in which distributor the site uses.

Tax and duty, they are tightening up on it.

Always add 20% for vat and around 5% for duty (depends on what it is 2-5%) on anything you buy from America. Then add the shipping charges.

Why not order them from Amazon and pay normal post rates.

Motorcycles.

The M20 is laden with "THINK BIKE LOOK TWICE" signs. Yet the last couple of mornings there have been a trio of bikes doing ~110-120 weaving between traffic in the outside and middle lanes.

"THINK BIKE THINK TWAT"
