Sending emails to professors with my MSc project proposal asking them to be my supervisor. I feel like I'm asking a girl to go out with me or something; it's pretty stressful. Expecting a load of email responses on Monday saying "LOL Moose you clown, this project idea is terrible and you're ugly so I'd never supervise you anyway!"

good luck dude! I've been trying to turn in my placement avoidance paper since the first week of December, and the school's been doing some kind of idiot dance around it...and on Friday they sent me an email telling me I have to hurry up and turn it in because *I* am slow. Last time I told them what I thought of their behavior I got told off for being negative and unrealistic. Ho hum :(
