The whole subject of the meeting is a gigantic fuck up that has happened when morons who don't understand our IT system made changes to it, despite me pointing out exactly where it would go wrong, it has gone wrong in the exact same way as I said it would. Sending emails to professors with my MSc project proposal asking them to be my supervisor. I feel like I'm asking a girl to go out with me or something; it's pretty stressful. Expecting a load of email responses on Monday saying "LOL Moose you clown, this project idea is terrible and you're ugly so I'd never supervise you anyway!"

I didn't get any mean message yet which is nice I guess. I haven't received any replies at all yet though, which is really frustrating because the deadline for having a project and supervisor organised is this Friday. I guess I've just gotta go in and start knocking on doors which I'm terrible at, due to being a coward.

lol dem skools eh? current theory is that lecturers get off on students begging them for responses to <whatevers>. other theory is that it's completely pointless to turn in stuff on time; one must be blindingly fast or super slow to get any kind of normal reaction time from da man.

would be sweet to have a proper learning AI to play against. I'm not big on playing online, me.

There's a whole load of problems to deal with when making game AIs. You actually have to slow them down else their micro becomes unbeatable and they get a huge advantage early in the game due to perfect startup strategies.
