Actually talked to him on a flight to LAX few months back. Really nice guy, very intelligent and somewhat different from his TV persona. He plays a role, one he gets well paid for. Plenty of comedians have gone down this route, pointing out irony and highlighting controversial subjects is hardly new ground.

Yeah, our trains are fucked, our lines are fucked, the staff are degenerates, the companies running them are useless, greedy cuntbags and they are stupidly overpriced. Oh and the tax payer subsidises the whole fuck up despite few people being able to afford to use them.

Last time I checked it was £3.5k for an annual ticket for a half hour train journey, that was 5-6 years ago, probably double that now.
