They did say early access to beta tests, but not demos. Though tbh, there were already exclusive demos in Qore (not many, maybe 2 so far?), maybe that's being included since Qore is part of the price now.

There's no way I'm going to subscribe to it, but at least Sony aren't really screwing over those who don't want to pay, and I'm sure they'll make some money off a few people who do think it's a good idea.

I have replayed Cash Bandicoot and Syphon Filter as PS1 classics and paid £3.99 for each. So depending on the titles £30 (already been on hot uk deals) for access to all the classics for a year might be ok. Will hopefully get a list of the titles at some point.

I'd love this on the 360 but it should be made imo so you can get achievements for playing these games. I know that would require a bit of work but it would certainly attract people.

Achievements are really addictive and encourage you to try things you normally wouldn't in a game.

You don't demos are still free you just get them early with this (which is not right). You pay for other features like access to all the PS1 classic games. But the important thing is you do not need this at all.

PS1 backward compatibility was never promised only PS2 from what i remember. And i had a ps3 with backward compatibility but seeing as i sell games when i finish them i never used it. So to be able to download play again then delete a old game is fine by me.

It mentions software emulation for ps1 games but i can't find that it was ever planned to be able to play the disks.

Didn't really understand his description of the measuring enviroment. He measured it in an office which is a bit odd, you can't get true figures that way. X-bit labs or one of the other hardware sites should have some more accurate figures soon.

Panico points out that the current PlayStation Network will remain a free service. PlayStation Plus subscribers will get the existing PSN features plus PlayStation Plus features with exclusive games, store discounts, exclusive demo selections, betas, and early purchases. Buyers will also get full game trials and automatic downloads.

Exclusive demo selections is what it says on the tin. Early access demo's amount to the same thing. Plus members will get what XBL Gold members get, demo's before anyone else.
