PS2 games..

I recently got me a PS2 (bout fucken time) and wanna buy some games... I really love racing games and am looking at Gran Turismo. I remember a friend had GT2 which was awesome...

I really want Lord of the Rings 2 Towers and I'm wondering if Tekken Tag is any good. Mortal Kombat I got which I have no regrets buying... I also got me The Getaway which is not bad, I think Grand Theft Auto is better though...

What do you PS2 addicts recommend? I think u have an idea of what I like, so help me not to waiste precious drinking money

Out of that list I'd get:

Gran Turismo 3 and Tekken Tag

Tony Hawk's 3 & Devil May Cry

Silent Hill 2 & World Rally Championship

In that order.

I'd definitely recommend you get your PS2 chipped though. Loads of games are infinitely better in their Jap version than their UK (Tekken and Winning Eleven 6 for example). Plus most PS2 titles are juarezed on CD, so as long as you've got broadband you won't have to pay for most of them (which offsets the price of the chip). And you don't have to wait 6 months for the UK release (eg Soul Calibur 2).

What's Kingdom Hearts like Munkey? I had the chance to 'acquire' it a few months back but held off, it looked a bit... gay. I mean the characters in FF games are irritating enough, without Donald fucking Duck as well.

VF4 Evo is on here as well, but I was never much of a fan of VF. Is it supposed to be significantly different? Or more of the same?
