Its really very disappointing to see so many great games still not available for free download. Let them keep the copyright, just let us play! Its not like its going to cost them any money in lost revenue.

If someone offered the entire games catalogue for a particular computer, for a few quid, they'd sell like hotcakes.

The underdogs webby has a Windows version of this game and it's freeware. Just downloaded the game and it looks just as good as the original if not crisper.

The game will run at 640x480 at best in full screen mode, any higher and the collision detection is out.

Controls:

Left ctrl = Fire

direction keys are the up, down, left and right keys.

You can get just about any C64 game on free emulators now. The Amiga catalogue is okish, any other computer was shit and doesn't matter

I did have a vic20 before my first c64 .... which was kinda crap, but it's crapness fell into insignificance due to the fact that Chucky Egg was so elite!!!

At least it could handle sprites. And it had 16 colours - speccy had 8? And it had better sound. And it had a better keyboard. And more memory.
