Keep coming with massive pbae groups they rock a lot m8 And yes hib tank groups aren't super compared to some alb/mid tank groups but some can work quite well. It's all about having more healclasses then a normal group.

The skald is needed in the group, because he has got speed 5. Also because taking out the healers/shaman is a higher priority than a skald, he survives long enough to get many of the rp's. It has really little to do with how good the skald class itself is, besides having speed 5 and being slightly hard to kill (rogue hps and chain).

He didnt get so much rp's anyway, it was just a xml bug (as I doubt someone would make RR7 in a matter of 2 weeks).

I fink tank group wise - damage output is very similar between hib/alb but alb have the advantage due to sos/BoF. Mage group wise, really fun still unless we fight fotm mids who can just not bother assisting and take out 3 mages permenantly with asd spam, healing wise our perf mage group looks like:

Druid nature
Druid nurture
Void eld
Mana eld
Mana eld
Mana chanter
Bard
Shield hero

thats 2 primary healers same as alb we could take a warden and maybe swap out a mana eld, but with debuff/pbaoe its just so funn pbaoing for 1k+ x3 and insta killing noob savages IF we get a good jump on them, if we get jumped on the other hand, we,re teh fucked

Clerics/mercs/minstrels weak to thrust, and since clerics have BoF thrust helps alot when that is switched on taking down support.

Also no hibby classes are resistant to thrust, where as bards are resistant to slash same as BM which makes taking down hibs main CC class much harder.

Overall imho thrust is a better spec, especially for those not wanting to play a troll and wanting high dex/quickness on a char since thrust is 50% dex/str.

It was a facetious comment, but undrelying it is the issue that nearly all mid classes are easier to play/level than their alb equivalents, have greater utility or are just simply more powerful.

Just plain wrong their Nol. Pure tank is a piece of piss to play compared to an infil, as are casters. Healers take more skill, as do some support classes. Infils about in the middle.

Bollox - I can play a pure tank on one qbar whilst half awake. Healers/support need full attention and 360% fkn vision. Infils need 3-4 qbars and pretty good reactions.

You must be kidding about those alb classes. So you're saying that hybrid tanks are easier to play then pure tank classes? Next you'll b saying a sorc is easy to play Clerics are difficult to play because they have no insta CC to help them unlike healers/shamans so have to hide better, run better or somehow out heal to be a better support class then the mid counterparts.

Cleric+sorc extremely easy to level much like an earth thurg is, necro is the fastest solo pling class in game bar none, paladins are easy to xp since they have end regen. Ice wizzies are also extremely easy to xp especially in AC. Oh and Cabbies pulling the tangler tree at lv46 then being able to pl in extremely fast times.

Our little guild had a nice setup 1 sorc 1 mincer 2 cleric 1 pally and 3 tanks (mostly arms / reavers , sometimes a merc)

But atm all RR2-4. The fact the only enemy you encounter in a fg vs fg are High rr experienced players, mostly using FOTM setups makes it VERY hard to learn and get better. There seems to be no reandom group of mids/hibs around. We dont have seas of time as most of us have a busy life and play a few rounds of RvR when we got the peeps togheter. But we tried like 10 times to run a FG and most of the times we ran into FOTM hibs/mids rr6-10, most of m experienced players.

I wish there were some RR2-4 mids that have a nice sqaud of not too experienced players to have fun with instead of the need to move in zergs because the Fg vs FG fights ,we so much would like, are a just a dream.

Givf alb CC some luv or else the realm will change into even more stealther zerg or many many albs changing realm.
