Also in answer to a previous question about dividing by three for windpower calculation.
The UK has 24GW of plate wind power, in reality its only effectively 8GW over a year because wind turbines have a load power rating of 1/3rd of their plate rating.

To make matters worse its not a nice even 8GW across the year, it ranges from 24 to nothing on a daily basis.

Of course they are loathed to bring that up.
It is improving ...hopefully up to 50% soon.

Surely if he wants to live in France all year round thats where he would pay tax? This doesn't seem very complicated to me.

He doesn't want to live there all year. Just have access to it all year round. I thought that's why he needs a permit.
Maybe I'm reading it wrong

Well unless his passport is getting revoked, he will still have access to it all year round. What they have told him is that he can't have it as his main residence, presumably because he isn't a French national and we aren't in the EU.

Not a lot to see here...

That's what I thought at first but then as anything with Twitter there isn't enough detail. Not all that interested in the first place

I did a bit of research; its actually a story that first surfaced last year. He was indeed living in France full time, but hadn't domiciled his taxes in France because apparently it impacts one's ability to take their seat in The House of Lords (and no doubt because French top rate tax is bonkers), so he was actually breaking the rules even before Brexit. So yeah, it is amusing, and what a typical Tory cunt.

After 4 years, I'll be glad to hear the last of fucking Brexit. Glad it wasn't a 'No Deal' scenario at least... still rather we stayed like.

It won't be the last we hear about it, and it sounds like there is some sort of transition period with the mackerel

Ok, does @Job know what he has been upset by yet?

I bet its the bit about getting non-EU students over here. What with the Asian and Middle Eastern influx of students coming :)

Anyway, I'm glad you said it, love.

If it was anyone else I would be accusing them of being a lying fucking Tory.

Oh wait, no...we are at Peak Tory.
It's all just barefaced lying. BJ said yesterday that it would introduce no new non-tariff barriers which is patently untrue. Customs and regulatory inspections will now be needed. Gove's own figures estimated that the customs paperwork alone would cost UK businesses £7bn per annum. But they will say anything, right to your face, with no shame.

They did send out a release later correcting what he said....again.

Least that 7bn will create some extra jobs :p

And if we ever want to exercise our lovely sovereignty then it will trigger another set of negotiations where the EU will threaten us with tariffs until BJ backs down and calls it a victory.

Oh and the EU has kept three quarters of 'our' fishing rights.

Enjoy your win Brexiteers.

(Not to mention the borders within the UK lolz)
