Head. Sand. Troll.

There literally isn't anything more to you, is there @Job?
So suggesting that we shouldnt allow a few hundred gangsters, widely hated in their own country, to control britains brexit policy by fear of violence, is trolling now ?

They capitulate to Islam
They capitulate to gippos
They capitulate to gangsters
The capitulate to twatter mobs
The capitulate to the EU.

Is that it now?
Is that what we are?

I have no idea of the full wording, but I'll take a guess a future fracture in the relationship between Ireland and the UK involving them being in a European custom union we are not going to be in, probably wasnt written in, so time to renegotiate...except those fuckers wont will they, so we deal with DUP and they will just kick off without setting foot in the proceedings.

Actually the other parties in NI have been trying to get the DUP to come back to power sharing for quite a while, but DUP has zero incentive to do so while they are king makers in Westminster, Boris losing majority and so his dependence on DUP may actually end up being what gives him room to maneuver

I saw on the beeb earlier that there's a road which crosses the border 4 times in a 6 mile stretch.
Does it go anywhere?

I mean, legit activity is going to go to whatever they set up. Illegitimate activity will already be using that road (or backs of vans, anything to dodge the checks on borders that are frankly porous anwyay). So it's kind of a pointless red herring that map really.

There’s nothing to dodge whilst we have the same customs and regulations and a common travel area and freedom of movement.

Oh do fuck off. Worrying about the IRA is about 10th on the list of things fucking over the GFA emperils;
1. It destroys jobs in NI
2. It destroys jobs in the Republic
3. It raises costs in NI, one of the most deprived parts of the country already.
4. It breaks a bunch of all-Ireland supply chains overnight, destroying the NI farming and food industries at a stroke.
5. About 100k people cross the border each day for work, those people's jobs may become impractical
6. It will create a massive smuggling vector, because there are nearly 400 crossing points
7. It literally divides houses and villages
8. It shows that Britain is an untrustworthy bad actor on the world stage at exactly the time when they need all the reputation points they can get.
9. It will make Sinn Fein more popular.
10. Fuckwits will start killing people.

That's not quite true; smuggling based on currency differences goes on right now; lots of fuel smuggling for example; north to south at the moment.

Did the fuckwits ever stop killing people though?

1,100 bombs and shootings in 10 years: The figures that prove terrorism hasn't gone away - BelfastTelegraph.co.uk

Reported in April 2016, so before we voted to Leave. Considering the North and Republic have different tax and duty regimes, there is also a hell of a lot of smuggling going on already by the same aforementioned idiots - in fact perhaps making smuggling more lucrative might convince them to stop blowing stuff up.

Given there is already ANPR along the border, and Food/Livestock are already checked away from the border when crossing, what is really going to change?

Disclaimer : the best place for the border would be in the Irish Sea, and then create some sort of special status for Norn Irn so they get easy access to both markets, however as sky fairies are involves pragmatism went south a long time ago.

The EU can't have the border there as it destroys the single market. Not sure why everyone find this so hard to grasp.

Because that's how it works, there's a huge market so they all band together to make money for one guy.

Or maybe there will be even more competition between the groups.

Reading is a valuable skill in 2019, I'm surprised you haven't grasped that yet. Alignment with the single market would be part of the special status I mentioned.

It would be a tougher sell to the DUP than the EU.

And you think that hasn't been discussed and dismissed already by the EU?

It was dismissed by May as the long-term solution and then dismissed by the DUP as the backstop.

As @Bodhi said, it was actually the EU's preferred solution and makes by far the most sense. It's also something pretty much entirely in the UK's control, and Boris doesnt even have to worry about a DUP veto anymore as he doesn't have a majority anyway.

But of course Boris doesnt actually give a shit about an actual solution, he just wants out before a lot of rich people have to start revealing their tax affairs, and the clock is ticking...

It also kinda means that Blighty tacitly admits that it's lost northern ireland.

Sort of an economic annexing in favour of the EU, n'est-ce pa?

I'm glad they're keeping the International Trade Secretary in the loop. If there even is a loop at this point.
