Fortunately i used my friends account to patch and have a small go last night, that just made things even worse. Worth the wait but the wait is seriously drawing out now.

Ok, it seems that You do not need to get a validation email to be able to login with the client. After a day of refreshing the inbox at work without a trace of a mail from goa. Making me almost burst a vain in my forehead, it hit me maybe they try to say on the news page that the 10000 missing out does NOT need to confirm their registration. So when I got home I fired up the beta client and typed in my username and password, voila it started to patch.
Funny you have to figure out what they fail to inform by yourself...

I can confirm that... Been checking my email all day since around 12.00. No email. Also tried to log in several times during this time and now finally managed to get in and start the patching.

So if you are still waiting for a confirmation email, try logging in with the game client from time to time.

Ok, It didnt work for me yesterday either. I did "spam" the registration five to ten more times today, it may have helped.

might be hard to setup a new account, as you can't do it
