Yeah but it isn't the first and a plane can still travel quite some distance once hit so it'll be interesting just how far it was over the boarder and what warnings it was given.

The light neon blue line is the Turkish boarder, the red line is the Russian planes track and the blue line heading south is probably the Turkish fighter.
