Ouch! Meh Finga

Broke my finger yesterday (bloody sore)

Was like a scene from Keystone Cops. My mate (painter and decorator) came round to give me a hand painting the house.

He decided he would go up the ladder and paint the soffits while I stayed inside and emulsioned the youngestts new room.

Heres roughly how the story unfolds :

Im merrily painting away when Ihear :

Crash (ladders tipping over)
Thud (my mate hitting the path)
Ooooofff (my mate)
clunk (half empty tin of Gloss paint hitting the path)
I immediately think : Shit!!!!
and i rush oout the room and head down the stairs at a rapid rate of knots.
Lose my footing 3 steps dont and slid arse first down the rest.
Only thing that stiops me is the large newell post at the bottom (the big thick vertical lump of wood) which traps my right hand and wrenches my shoulder (practically out the socket)
at the same time, my other hand is dragging down the other side ripping flesh and leaving a trail of blood.
evertheless, i rush outside and me mate is STILL lying on the ground.

Thankfully he wasnt badly hurt (sore backside and a sorer pride)

ended up it was me in casua;lty for 2.5 hours getting tended to!!!

(cant type cos 2 fingers are taped together.)

and one broken digit.

Sucks doesnt it.

Just hope i never break a limb

I had my thumb in the gap between hinged side of door and the wall and someone pushed the door closed!!

I tried pushing back with one hand but they were pushing harder on the other side so it went back and forth about 5 times with me yelling in pain!!!

And now I have a skew thumb!!

I broke my nose few days ago. Was playing a kick-up game with some ancient vietnamese toy (according to the canadian chap who gave it to me)

kicked it, went into his nuts. he goes "right, catch this!". Kicks the thing right at me........


of course it misses


but his shoe doesnt
