I'm sure this has been mentioned before but what's a good car stereo, reasonably cheap, no huge bass-bin and fits in a 206 ?

Be serious. Cheap car stereos can't do CDs, MDs, tapes and Mp3s.

I quite like the Blaupunkt Dallas (minidisc). No face off but has a keycard type thing. Good sound out of it. It really depends on your speaks though.

I would seriously consider budgeting for new speakers too.

Will a car mp3 player play a DVD loaded with mp3s?

Not if it can't read DVD's. Different thickness of laser, it'd be like replacing the needle on some decks with the wrong end of a spade... :)

That sucks then. I wanted to play 70 albums in me car off one disc :(

Look into a system with a big-ass hard drive in the boot then. :)

Make one. I know someone who did.. you just need to sort the power out, the rest is just a PC.

No, they're japanese bonsai koi dolphins, a minature cousin of your normal household dolphin, these are perfectly legal when looked after correctly.

The topic of this thread keeps reminding me of that Massive Attack track

Mah A-K rig goes boom boom, mah a-k rig goes boom. (or something)

A set of keys to get out the factory head unit, not sure exactly for a pug 206, but a coat hanger is a fucking nightmare unless you have super human patience.

Also, you probably need an adapter for the wires (bout £13 from halfords) this is specific to the car.

Maybe an arial adapter for the radio too, some won't go straight into the head units, but you won't know if you need this till you've got it apart :/

The keys are u shaped, cant miss them.
They will have loads of loom adapters that all look the same but will have the specific make/model of car on a sticker.
Keys are about £3 i think...
