Aye but zens expensive or used to be ;p besides I think its really touch and go - aslong as the ISP doesnt

1) throttle you when download (most don't, you'll find they only limit speeds with P2P, anything else general goes untouched regardless of how much you download) most do that now
2) support isnt too bad
3) price suits you

Then who gives a fuck who you go with ? example, i'm with talktalk who in many peoples eyes are fucking terrible but I've never had any issues with them since joining, never been throttled once and its never really been offline + fast speeds.

My sister tried to go with TalkTalk and she had alot of errors/issues and ultimately went back to her old ISP as a result.

Ive never really had a problem with BT, not at home anyway (their business side of things is a joke) I do use P2P for everthing i DL, but i do through the night and its fine tbh

Not gonna happen. I think BE are a brilliant ISP and that O2 got a bargain but looking at this blog post from them I'd guess now that being in the slave role means that the BE brand is potentially going to suffer or that the O2/BE isp is about to be in serious shit if they can't get Fibre up and running.

zen arent cheap, but they tick all the boxes: good speeds, never had any probs with it really, UK based ENGLISH support

also, as of 1st april, theyve doubled all their DL allowances across the board

To be fair it is over an encrypted link (the source server is not that powerful). I will do a speed test later.

It is great isn't it. I live outside of London and have a lovely connection, you live in the centre of Town and have the shittiest connection ever

Got my free speed doubling from BT which took me from 38mbs to 75mbs+

D/L speeds of about 9.2mb per sec.

I get 3.1MBit/sec with 50mb Virgin Media :/ used to be about 5.5 but for the past month it's been 3.1 for some reason..

Virgin are doubling all speeds for free too this summer so if it all returns to normal I should be getting over 10 mbit/s.. which I don't need but it's nice.

Just had a right fuck on with TalkTalk and their Indian call center.. literally been passed between 3 different departments, 8 different people, 2 call backs due to hanging up and a headache to boot >< only fucking phoned up to ask when it'd be available... one guy that picks the phone up goes "Hello sir how can I help you today?" so I told him... what does he reply with? "Slow down please sir, my english is not very good" and then the cheeky cunt has a nerve to say "I have been a great help to you today sir" I was like "Have you fuck"
