Im sure they said that the client would be patchable for the Live headstart so i assume that the full retail can also be patched too.

would guess you just need to update the "patch.cfg" file. Just as with DAoC and the "Update.dat".

If anyone is getting the "do not have required access rights" message try using IE, seems the GOA flash site doesn't like Opera (and possibly firefox).

I'll get it at work tomorrow and seed it. I'm on the SuperJanet academic network there but can't make direct connections because of firewall so I hope the torrent isn't locked down too hard and the tracker allows DHT etc?

It's good to see that downloads are progressing well for most of you. By now some of you have finished downloading the client. When you're done and considering wether to terminate the downloader or not, please keep your fellow gamers in mind. We are all eager to start playing the Open Beta but the servers will not be up for another week or so. By leaving your downloader open, you give precious bytes to your comrades.

just back from a 21st and had left the the d/l & u/l on but i completed it and getting 200kbs (ish) upload so ill leave it going for at least 2days (wedding and repeat exams + unlimited down&upload from my isp = woot) to get the rest of u OB'ers up to speed... -[wishes for an Irish flag smiley]-

Edit: to add onto the seed topic, if ppl complain about not getting goa support or equal rights as the US... seed so the EU ppl with OB codes can start on time!

I use diff torrent sites and tbh dont seed when the d/l is complete but WAR isnt a movie... SEED!!! SEEED! as i am

i dont know whats wrong with the downloader but it uses a massive 50% cpu usage for me and it uploads at the max speed possible which ordinarily is fine for torrents/ftps but with this download it completly makes my internet crawl , webpages wont even load :|

i have 90kb/s upload aswell

sigh narrowed it down to my router beeing bombarded with a million connections :|

whoever coded your downloader didnt have the insight to limit the amount of connection attempts, my router is by no means weak a dlink dgl-4300 , it has handled 1500-2000 connections on torrents with ease so your downloader must be allowing a ridiculous amount of connnections.....

you should really have set a hard limit of around 400 connections, i bet people on not so great routers are going to have problems with there routers crashing/rebooting

Lacking access to the Tester's Forum (or atleast none of the logins I defined worked so far), but the download manager caused a 99% CPU load on my Notebook when I downloaded the client. Almost melted my notebook

Woke up this morning and done just installing now.

Shit this room is hot it's like a freakin oven had the PC on now almost 24 hours.

In the end i disconnected my router and just fed my PC straight through my modem worked pretty well.

As most of you probably found out, the dl part of the web page does not work with Firefox. If you re-load it in IE-tab or IE it will display properly.

it works in Firefox, just if you have the old version of the flash cached it'll say "non!", so the solution is to clear your cache and ctrl-f5.

I am currently downloading the client and will be putting it on the FH torrent server (seeder will use 10mbits), plus it will be available on a HTTP download.
