So many noobs in this thread... You even threw in some whine about fire wizards in there! good job asshole, they are only the worst caster in daoc (yesyes i know there are worse specclines but not worse caster classes)

when 2 or more power relics is in one realms posession that realms casters are doing insane damage, regardless if they are RM, SM, Wizzy, Sorc or Chanter.
almost every caster class with a pet is a "notouch" for most melee classes if both solo.
even assassins should leave these casters alone, wich imo is all wrong.
SM, Chanter and Sorc is by far the most dangerous solo/small grp classes.
combined with CC and healing they can do huge damage and are really hard to kill.
casting speed and magic damage had a kickstart with ToA and is by far better than any melee as u cant body guard against magic, u cant block it nor evade it.

there's also usually so many casters around that u can not keep all of them interrupted and if u do get them interrupted 1 QC nuke (lifetap or whatever) is often enough to save them wether its killing you or lifetapping so they survive long enough for someone else to save them etc.

in most cases melee is considered leech even in PvE as even their taunts arent needed anymore, melee is completely useless PvE as well as RvR atm.
Range is all that matters, the longer the better.

if u want to use melee u want a class able to become Banelord, they are pretty awesome, or battlemaster Warden.
give a mmorpg without any magician classes and i would play it without hesitation.

how many RP u got on one char doesent say anything about how good u are tho, as there is some skilled players that have 8 rr5ish chars, others have 3 rr7-8ish chars and some have 1 rr11 chars.

when playing 1 char that zergs massively it aint all that hard getting to rr11 in 3 years ^^
besides, having a high rr char doesent give u the right to act like a retard :)

yep all free etc, comes with baseline moc 3 , 400+ 'they cast too fast' dex and the musthave purge2 RA.

Aye - one combines good offense with cc, whilst the other combines cc with group support and healing.

Ask yourself what aids your group more - 2/3 healers or 2/3 sorcs.

But having a lowbie healer/pala does, I see your point...

I responded to some forum trolls with some objective remarks, I really really do apologize if i hurt their feelings :wanker:'s

I've zerged and I've played in gank groups. And I can honestly say, gank groups do pay off a great deal more in rps.
