damn but it's cold in NL atm. it's not even really cold, but for some reason it feels that way

You really shouldn't be splashing in puddles naked down dark alleys at 2am. We told you about it before.

Hey now that's not fair - we let you build a ginormous snow-peen a few years ago.

London's projected snow has been downgraded from 2cm of heavy snow to "a wintry mix of rain and sleet". The country's on a "Level 3 Alert" - which apparently is one below a national emergency.

For a few wet snowflakes and a puddle of slush?

6-14 cm predicted for the London Area Friday / Saturday.
I'm getting the shovel from the shed. The Mrs will want a path cleared.

Just got home from work, trying to snow here in Aldershot. Will be travelling to London tomorrow *if* the revised adverse weather timetable isn't fucked up by SWT. They have already stated the timetable they are running.

Woke up, no snow.
Despite during the day being warnings of heavy snow on the hills and the council only clearing down to A roads (nearest A road is about 5 miles away)

Just before i went to bed, no snow, checked weather forecast...no snow forecast. A few hours before hand it was "THE SNOWPOCOLYPSE!" now "Chilly with some fog"

Apparently just started snowing outside the office, although I can't see it myself....

We actually need these cold snaps to control invasive species - I remember when a few years back we had a few very mild winters in a row in the following years the harlequin ladybirds had almost completely replaced our native ones but after the hard winter that followed the native ones were back on top.

They walk in on their own in the mornings - they want a parent to collect for legal reasons otherwise they are liable if the kid never gets home.
