I think I made it known that I had to browse with avatars and images off for this reason too. What's the big deal everyone? Ditto! I visit other forums, but not general because lots of stuff is nsfw. In my work place, I could be up for disciplinary or even sacked for that kind of content. It's a real pain to be trying to help someone to fix their pc ...... only to scroll down and see some idiot with a tits avatar. It's unnecessary imo. Yeah I could turn avatars off, but like someone else said, it's like a face, a way you instantly recognise people. Anyone could put a pair of tits in their avatar, but most people don't incase it causes someone else offence or gets them in trouble at work. If not banned, the individuals should at least be asked nicely to change them imo.

There's a world of difference between text and juggling tits.

I almost always used to browse FH at work - it's perfectly acceptable. However, if the boss walked past and saw animated tits then that'd be a no-no - but he's not going to walk past and read a post in the same way.

It's not unreasonable people - consideration for people who haven't quite got the same freedom as you isn't that hard to comprehend??


At the moment I'm not working - but when I saw the animated jugs the first thing that flashed through my mind was "thank fuck for that" - because it may well have cost me whatever job I was in at the time (I'm a self-employed contractor).

Look at it this way:

1) NSFW threads? Cool. Bad language??? Cool. People can make a choice about this - if the language on FH is too bad or a thread is NSFW then you can choose not to view at work.

2) Jiggly tit avatars?? Not cool - you could be reading a tech thread (for example - something semi-serious) and you don't get a choice to not view the wobbly tits.

It's not about turning off avatars - because a) we all agree they're an integral part of the experience here - identifying people easily and b) I like 'em
