Got a mate who's a games designer. He says they've been experimenting with FPS's on VR tech and they're pretty much non-starters in their current form. The sort of quick movement in those games is giving people horrible nausea very quickly so unless you want a vomit simulator you have to slow things down so much that the experiences would be way too compromised.hl3/portal 3
Don't know how the PS4 is going to do it - mate says anything below 90fps is awful and a single dropped frame jars horribly - and the PS4 is way shit tech...
Nice bit of extra weight then, GPU and gumf, batteries etc...or an annoying lead.
