As I said before NK hardware wise don't have a lot the real threat to SK is the hundreds of artillery pointing their way and that could do a lot of damage if they all fired at once.

They don't have the capability to launch a nuke and they certainly don't have an air force capable of dropping a nuke. We know they have submarines but again they are very very old.

Those positions are doubtless known and would be wiped out within minutes of any attack.

No, its not. They know the type of bomb they've tested, they know the types of missiles they can launch - these things are almost impossible to hide, the bomb they have can't fit any of their current missiles. More uncertain is a chemical or biological payload.

I was just saying worse case scenario, they would have to launch nukes first for the element of supprise, because they would get Fucking hammered not long after either way... Firing just a few normal missles first isn't going to have much of an impact, and they'll get hammered just as quick

They'll probably show on NK TV a collection of poorly edited clips of world leaders bowing down in various places around the world and cut back to Kim 'accepting' their surrender, then they'll show images froma 70's disaster movie and claim they have wasted the entire world and that everyone should stay inside for three years and eat their carpets till the radiation dies down.

They have fairly decent missiles and quite a lot of them apparently. The aim is supposedly crap according to USA (that can mean anything really), but they can deal some pretty nasty damage.

And USA/SK probably won't be able to shoot them all down.

Asians and their honor is a weird thing indeed. From what i've learned Asians (or Asians with power any way) think they lose their honor if they back down in situations like this.

For Asians to lose their honor at least used to be the worst thing that could happen, and they would actively seek death to try and prevent it.

That said i don't know how much of that is applied now, i haven't studied Asia since i went to school some 20 odd years ago so i might be waaaay off here.

Anti missile systems are a pile of crap - the sucess rate of interceptions is wildly overstated.

Thats pretty delusional tbh - the israelis struggle to take out home made rockets with a cutting edge anti missile system and still most get through.

Its actually very difficult to intercept missiles.

And now Japan has started to equip their navy with Aegis systems.

Even though it's a defensive system i can't imagine that Kim won't see that as anything but Japan mobilizing.

People need to start to calm the fuck down over there, and not just NK...

The only country involved in this mess that's at least *trying* to keep it cool is South Korea.
