The Americans have so much firepower in that area it's scary. If n Korea do declare war, the Americans will bombard them so heavily and quickly I don't think they would be able to launch a nuke... Even if they could

As I said before NK hardware wise don't have a lot the real threat to SK is the hundreds of artillery pointing their way and that could do a lot of damage if they all fired at once.
They don't have the capability to launch a nuke and they certainly don't have an air force capable of dropping a nuke. We know they have submarines but again they are very very old.
or do they? Its a closed country so its all just speculation.

And how long do you think it takes to launch missiles anyway? 3 - 4 days?
Hours probably. But what use are 1980s missiles vs 2010s anti missile systems?
It's the equivalent of spear vs machine gun.
i really dont get it.. people expect -some- grandstanding from these fuckwits, all dictators are the same
however you reach a point, now, where Option A is "you got to war, you lose", Option B is "you have to back down, and having ramped it up so far , you lose a lot of face"
lose/lose, so why push so far :/

Raven said:Those are very small rockets, these are basically scuds.
I dont think it will come to missile fire but I think people are being a bit complacent
rynnor said:Thats pretty delusional tbh - the israelis struggle to take out home made rockets with a cutting edge anti missile system and still most get through.
Its actually very difficult to intercept missiles.
