They have a break-in period of several thousand miles so it won't be comfortable out of the box, it'll take a while.

Aye, feels rock hard! He's 6'6", hopefully the weight will make process quicker :)

Yeah they start off a bit uncomfortable, but trust me, if you look after it as per the instructions, within 1,000 miles it'll soften up considerably. After 5,000 miles or so he will never, ever go back to any other saddle. They are brilliant.

Just tell him not to overtension it. As you look at the front of the saddle (from the handlebars), a quarter turn clockwise of the tensioning bolt, every few hundred miles. No more, or you'll rip the leather.

My razer mouse started double-clicking on single clicks a lot, just outside the warranty, so I replaced it with a Corsair Sabre. Pretty good so far, though it could do with less LEDs...

Logi mice have 3 year warranties, just replaced mine on rma .

Also a lot of the times you can fix these issues - plenty of video guides on youtube.

One thing that really makes Logitech stand out is their after sales support. Every time I've needed to contact them about something they've sorted it with no hesitation.

I considered a logitech, but went with corsair in the end as I liked the feel of it a bit better. I don't really fancy trying to fix up the razer, wasn't all that impressed with it anyway. Might chuck it on ebay cheap or something, see if anyone wants to buy it to fix up

Why not try something like this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Automatic-Stopcock-manufactured-Autostopcock-installation/dp/B009CB5PQ2

And considering it's electric, you could wire it in series with a wifi lightswitch (of which there are plenty), so you control whether the remote switch is on or off.

I watched their video and am now very dubious. I hate any scaremongering that is usually just there to dupe the old and stupid. Very high price as well.

Smarthome SELECT Electronic Water Shutoff Valve, 3/4-inch, 12V DC

Could do something with this if I had the time. With Insteon kit it would cost around $190 USD instead of £250.

Electric/Battery Stopcock – Floodcheck.co.uk

or these guys.

I took the plunge and bought this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Amazon-SK705DI-Echo-Black/dp/B01GAGVIE4

I'm a Prime member so I get it for £100 instead of £150 and since I have been looking for a wireless speaker for choons I figured this would do the trick. However, I did um and ah about it yesterday afternoon and decided not to...... later on, I was watching Mr Robot Ep 3 and a new character has one in her place!! Coincidence, perhaps, but for me it's a bloody SIGN!!! :)

Hah, I noticed the Mr Robot reference as well - I wonder how much they paid for it.

Thanks for the heads-up - I've been looking for a BT speaker for my pc for a while - ordered. It has a timer too - recon that will be useful in the kitchen

I'm tempted but struggling to really see how much use I would get out of it so I think I'll leave it for now and see at a later time once the early adopters opinions are in. No doubt there will be a special Black Friday offer for it. It'd also be a hard sell justifying it to the wife as I just bought this ostensibly for my son.

Bright blue Nike club update:

A well hit 3 wood will typically go around 240 yards. A well hit driver will typically go around 280 in current conditions.

Last night I hit my new 3 wood.....300 :)

@Big G , if you want a 3 wood you can smash....look no further.

If I use a driver it will go a bloody long way but I'll never find the ball again because it doesn't go straight.

I usually use a 3 wood which also goes a long way but stays a lot straighter than a driver.

One of the main reasons I use a 3 wood - much better control for an average bloke, I just find the heads of the drivers too large. Taylormade brought a small headed driver a couple of years ago and I quite fancied a shot, looked liked a fat 3 wood. I've not played golf for about a year though so i'd be rubbish.

How much confidence do you need to off a rabbit?

Is discharging air rifles legal in public? I guess you need the land owners permission. Shrug

The Echo arrived - after some setting-up I can now tell it to turn the lights on and the central heating up - BT speaker sounds quite good, considering the size - I'm pretty chuffed with it - only TuneIn radio seems to be a bit hit mor miss - @Jupitus how did you get on...

My wife hates it :)

Good to know, Smurkin. I don't have any smarthome devices (yet) but like you I have been impressed with the speakers and there are plenty of other things she is useful for. Like you, I didn't get on with Tunein radio, but I found a 'Radioplayer' skill which works really well easily playing BBC radio / Kiss FM / Capital and so on - I recommend you try it. I have only just dipped a toe into all the available skills ('skills' are add-ins much like apps for your phone) and there are plenty out there to try out.
