More nerdy that awesome but I got my ScanSnap and it is very very easy to use. I got the S1300i and i am breezing through the paper work. Scanning is easy the renaming and storing is more of a pain in the arse. Searchable PDF's off all my paperwork is in my future. I just did all my expenses with the receipts taking minutes rather than ages using the flat bed on my all in one

OT but I had a massively positive experience with Gumtree a couple of weeks back - sold a 3 piece suite for my dear mother, 3 chaps from Coventry came up to the night after I posted it and bundled it into a van to be "shipped abroad". Was initially slightly concerned, but they turned out to be some of the most respectful and pleasant people I'd met - made sure nothing was damaged when moving the suite, always took their shoes off when coming into the house, and paid full price without quibble.

This was in the posh part of Stoke though (Stone), so that may have been a factor. Can't imagine much is sold on Gumtree in Stoke other than Oatcakes and Lobby though?

Stone has some right rough areas, and some right dodgy fuckers, I know my mate is one of them I used to work in Stone and honestly you get some wrong 'uns like everywhere but it is a pleasant area. It sure isn't no Abbey Hulton or Bentilee though

Mate of mine used to live in Stone, thought it was alright, for that part of the world. My ex-wife is from Leek, which is a bit more Wollyback than Stoke, but I always thought it was OK. Stoke itself though (as in Hanley); urgh. But then I've lived in Salford, Hull, Bracknell and Peterborough in my time, which are always on the shittest towns list and I loved Hull and Salford. (Peterborough and Bracknell can fuck off though)

The Coppice and The Priory are a bit dodgy, wouldn't have any issues walking through there after dark however. Stone itself has some cracking markets on though, and the Food Festival in October is great fun - especially the Titanic Brewery tent.

Only time I've been to Stoke recently was to go to Miller and Carter up in Talke, tend to give the rest of the place a wide berth sadly. Trentham, Fenton and Newcastle are OK (yes I count Newcastle as part of Stoke), but Hanley is a bit grim, and the less said about Burslem the better.

However living in Stafford, I can't say too much

I just ordered a TomTom 5000 I used one a few times this week and it was leagues ahead of CoPilot on my mobile. The Traffic alerts were great. I got sent some really stupid ways only to get there and find out the sensible route was blocked with a traffic jam. £149 on Amazon with £30 cash back. I used to use my mobile in a shitty mount but with driving about more and more this made sense to me.

I drive a Kia for Work and the Sat Nav is shit. It does not have postcodes that are two or three years old and at the Service they promised the most recent Maps are installed. I was expecting a "there is a upgrade to the bla bla system which is £1200" but nothing.
