Ah, chumlar, sooooo many things :)

I've "10-speed"ed my aging MTB, so I've jumped from the "oldie but a goodie" 1x9 standard right into 2004 super high-tech 1x10 speeds with a Hope narrow-wide 32T chainring and a Shimano 11x36 cassette. I also got myself a new chain, an XT 10spd shifter pod and CRC did me a massive discount on a '14 model XTR derailleur that has a clutch so works even better with the chainring.

I bought myself some Pulp Fiction themed Displates, because I like them and Displates press a lot of my nerd buttons.

Note: the plates are not creased, it's the plastic protective sleeve that makes them look that way in the pic.

further down on my to-do list, I really need a new coffee bean grinder, and generally the coffee machine needs some TLC so I may give it an overhaul. Also, I prolly need a new car. Pfff.

cheers blud, appreciated :) sadly I can not ride yet. fact of the matter is that I can barely walk if I have shoes on, due to where the broken bone is and how feet work when you walk on them. when I got up this morning my foot actually felt very odd indeed and looked 'not right' as far as feet go. I'm gonna hit up the doc on Wednesday if it keeps feeling wonky. it *may* actually be feeling wonky due to the swelling from two weeks of bruise subsiding, what do I know?

right back atcha: how's the old back? op go well?

A fancy metal poster, basically. Because @TdC is hella fancy.

I put the fancy in fancypants!

Wounds a little sore cant sit can only stand or lay down. Have numb toes and parts of right foot. Guess you would like that but feels wierd.

But no nerve pain and walked the furthest i have walked in months without any pain today :).

So good and bad. Mostly good.

glad to hear you're up and walking chumlar! you're right, I'd not mind numb toes atm but to each their own :)

I know it's not on the same level, but when I had my shoulder op they shut down my entire left arm by "stopping" the functions of a nerve in my neck for a short while. the reason was that what they were going to do was pretty intense and according to the ortho chopper I would feel it through a general anesthetic (I got that too though). although my bones are in good nick, I do have a good portion of shoulder surface area that I can no longer feel, e. g. the numbness you speak of. my docs say that there is a good chance of feeling returning, but being docs they don't quantify anything ofc.

Steelseries Apex M800 - Literally the day before the Corsair keyboards go on sale.. I'll upload some night shots later.

Edit: Literally no issues with the spacebar. Keys are a little smaller than I was expecting so having to relearn to type :(

That keyboard is ECA approved :d

Well, I have the Majestouch 2 standard, like my numpad too much.

Yes was slightly anxious about tkl and us layout but my mouse nearer the kb sounds really nice as I do suffer a bit from clumsy travel time. As for the us layout it makes it a whole lot easier getting replacement keycaps' which is something I want the option of in the future

I just got a Lenovo TS140 when it was £300 last week. It comes with £125 cash back. I have added an SSD for the OS and 4 3TB WD Greens for the data. And as of this morning I am not on board with Plex. I think XBMC is still easier but as soon as I think I will get used to it.

That was a broken post. I am still not onbard with Plex. The Amazon TV can't resume playback it just reports that the Video can not be played. You have to start from the beginning. I will still play with it though as I have a Fire TV stick on every TV it the house so as long as I can sort out Multiple logons and librarys I will have to try and get it working. The Xenon processor makes all the difference streaming 4 1080p files is only touching 30% on the server. On my MicroServer 2 streams killed it and ended up stuttering.

They do, as long as you don't go with a "tenkeyless" one. Some folks like them without the numpad because there's not so much of a gap between the letters on the keyboard and the mouse.

They can also be classified by percentage:

1024px-ANSI_Keyboard_Layout_Diagram_with_Form_Factor.svg.png

65% is 60% + Arrow keys
70% is 60% + F keys
80% is Tenkeyless
90% is 60% + F keys and Numpad

That must be a fire tv bug. Plex doesn't do that to me on any platform I use (Android, PS3, PS4, LG tv, iPhone, RasPi).

From what i can see it is yes. It is just a shame I have one on every TV working fine on XBMC.

you mean a decent pc to put it in? :)
I'm going to do this to it, and I don't have the required bits until tomorrow at the earliest. I don't have space in the case for the card's radiator unless I just have it hanging out the side (which I've seen some people do to be fair).

Ballsy buying such an e xpensive card then voiding the warranty straight away
