I haven't used it in around three years now. It also means I get to disable all the Facebook plugins that come with most phones.

Just bought a Sherpa rear rack from Old Man Mountain (they make uber-strong racks that can survive trekking around the planet) and a pair of Super C panniers from Carradice.

Now all I have to do is not fill them to the brim with unnecessary shit to give my legs a break ;)

Didn't even know that was a thing :)

I like the idea of going point-to-point but being able to take my skewer out, ditch the panniers and rack and then spend a couple of days faffing around a trail centre. It gives me options...

...we'll see how I like it tho. Got them on the back of the bike at the moment. It's heavy :(

Feedback then, wanna hear that you love it to bits on a nightly basis and the mrs has left home all jealous! :)
Yes I love it. Glad I got a lapdesk cause it gets a bit hot. But it runs everything at high detail that I have thrown at it so far.

Only thing I miss is a nipple for. The mouse if I'm not using a usb one. But apart from that the Mrs is very jealous and ran off to Edinburgh this week. Hehe.

Lovely bit of kit tho. Thanks for the advice. :)

Just bought one of these:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Y-cam-HomeM...id=1429348019&sr=8-1&keywords=home+monitor+hd

Setup is dead easy, just connect a cable to your router, set it up on your desktop, connect it to your wifi (through the desktop), disconnect the router cable and then put it wherever you want. You set up movement zones online, it emails pictures when it detects movement, uploads movement video to your online account (stored free for 7 days). The delay between camera and the image you see on your phone is about 10-15 seconds. Records audio too, and has IR LEDs for night stuff. It looks as though it's pretty well made, the bracket is nice and solid. No rough edges or wobbly case or any of that. The only minor issue I've noted so far is that sunlight tends to close the iris (or whatever) right down, so if you point it at a sunny window the dark part of the room gets pretty dark.

I bought it because while I have an alarm and that's all very well, pictures of scrotes do a much better job. I have work equipment to protect, it's all pretty worthless to a criminal but it's worth a hell of a lot to me.
