Picked up the 125i yesterday. Good lord it's epic. Great drive, doesn't hang around, and is very good on fuel. Currently showing 35 mpg, which for a 3 litre petrol is astounding in my book. Especially considering my old diesel was showing 39 after a similar drive.

Getting taken tonight after I've taken it out for a run. At this point I can tell you it is Silver mit Blick Leather. Xenons, parking sensors all round, built in Bluetooth etc.

Oh and a quite beautiful straight 6 engine up front. Damn you tree huggers for killing off such a work of art on the premise of false economy

I had the Z4 3.0si and I absolutely agree, the engine is a masterpiece and I miss it dearly. The sound and slinkyness of the BMW straight six is something that will stick with me until I'm old and grey.

Fully agree. For me what makes it worse, is they have replaced them with a range of 4 cylinder turbos that do awesomely on the EU test. Only problem is, in the real world, they use just as much, if not more fuel than the classic straight 6's they have replaced.

I might need a new Al Gore voodoo doll at this rate....

Dunno what kind of wage hairdressers get in Dubai, but the ones in England sure as shit couldn't afford a Z4 ;)

I'd still have one. Most the hairdressers I know all drive shitty little hatchbacks (a bit like me).

I like driving small cars which is why I keep getting hatchbacks.

I love the look etc of that Audi but it's a bit too big for me.

Nothing hairdresserish about a 265 bhp, three litre straight six.

I had a Z3 M Roadster for a while, but I nearly died in it and got a bit of a fright. It had custom exhaust with the cat removed, it made a tremendous rasp with pops on the overrun.

I remember thinking the Z3 was a good looking car until the Z4 came out... The '4 looked like it was sculpted from a big bit of rock and made the '3 look generic and a bit soft.

Nice.

A good coffee machine is worth it imo.
