It would have to be hard mounted or I would never use it.

I suggested it to the guy who looks after vehicle leases the other week but he didn't do anything about it. I think its getting to the point where most cars will come with them as standard.

Only 32gb max memory? What's the recording time? It looks overpriced.

32g should be fine, they record in chunks, usually 3-5 mins and then once its full start recording over it (unless you protect a chunk) You should get a few hours on 32g.

Yeah after the other day where a car full of at least 8 people pulled across me and all pulled there arms up over their faces insurance fraud will see more and more companies wanting these installed.

Just need to get it properly cleaned and waxed now, hopefully before the proper cold weather hits! So my next nerdy buy will be a pressure washer and foam lance. Any recommendations on pressure washers to buy / avoid would be appreciated.

You watch those rims, a little close to the curb there

All of them have minor kerb marks already, nothing to worry about, if I don't ruin them further I'll get the reconditioned next year in the summer.

I have taken up Archery and got a Hoyt Horizon Blackout yesterday.

Very nice. Things have come on quite a bit since my day (Left-handed bows always cost loads more; now you just buy a grip). How much if you don't mind me asking?

I went to an Archery shot and got the full kit including set up for £499. The Riser itself was £179 I believe.

...and that just shows how much things have changed; I probably spent £3-400 on my last bow in the early 80s, which would be thousands at current prices, for something nowhere near as good as that. Almost makes me tempted to pick up a bow again.

It is a lot of fun and that bow is classed as an intermediate not a starter you can get a full set up for £200-£300 but you would end up needing to upgrade in a years time.

I spent about £300 for mine, normal handed. The arrows cost a lot more than I thought though £12 for 3. Not used it in an age though, tempted to take it up again but lost the use of the land I shot on.

I've got a Hoyt Helix Recurve (which is a few year old version of the http://www.hoytrecurve.com/recurve_bows/details/formula ion-x) and shoot A/C/E arrows which are about £24 each! Still not as expensive as X10's at £30 each (or £45 with Tungsten tips)!

Unfortunately I've not had time to shoot it for the last 2 years - Seem to spend my time on committee meetings for the sports ground instead :(

Like for the bow not for the not having time to use it :) A guy at the shop was firing a Hoyt Compound bow that looked like yours (same handle) and it was lovely. He let me fire 3 arrows and the noise it makes was brilliant.

So many hunger games fans...

:p

My long term plan is to be an extra in the next film. I am hoping for the position of "guy crushed to death by Jennifer Lawrece's thighs".

I have a very vivid imagination, it happened several times in the first film when my wife made me watch it.

Needed a watch as my TAG is badly needing a service, the poor old thing is losing 10 minutes a week at the moment, so is effectively useless as a watch until I can afford to get it serviced. So I got a SmartWatch 2, and it's fairly decent.

Sits well on the wrist, easy to read at a glance, has a torch and one or 2 other apps built in, and lets you read emails and other messages without getting your phone out. Lacking an ohmygodthatsawesomeiwantitsbabies feature for now, so more of a novelty than a must have, seems better than the other watches are the 110 mark I paid for it.

Also finally upgraded the hdd in the PS3 to a 500 gig job from the old 80, after much swearing at Western Digital.
