Thread Ressurection!!!

I wondered, having mentioned it in the new what does everyone do for a living thread, if anyone else is still doing this.

After an initial flurry with it, I got really busy with work, so having made an easy £500 or so without using anything but my own research and a bit of the moneysavingexpert forum, I withdrew all my profits, spent them and forgot about it.

Well, I didn't forget about it entirely, every now and again I'd think about starting up again, but having done pretty much all the sign up offers it seemed like hard work.

Then on another forum I frequent, the matched betting thing popped up and I found I could help a bit with my experiences, and it got me curious again. One member posted a site which he uses (full disclosure - It is a subscription site, and there is an affiliate scheme) it does all the same as the other ones around the sign up offers, but also has loads of information about reloads and how to keep our accounts open etc.

Anyway, long story short, In the last 3 months that I have been doing it again, using the help from that site to find offers etc, I have made just short of £2k barely any of which is from the sign up offers. £675.19 in December so far on it's own. I should make somewhere near £50 with the offers I'm doing today. I thought I'd struggle as the sign ups are where the easy money is, but it turns out there's a ton of other opportunities out there anyway.

I'm not going to post the link to that site here, because that feels a bit wrong. If you are interested though, sling me a pm. I'd be happy to help. They do the same thing as the others mentioned back in this thread where something like the first 3 are free before you sign up, there's videos to guide you through the process etc.

It's still easy money.

I've replied to your pm and another.

January has been a bit slow, but the bookies did go a bit mad with offers in December. I also haven't had the time to throw at it as we took on a new foster child for a bit and I've been buying another business. I'm still getting an offer a day or so done, often casino offers which come up and I've still made another couple of hundred. My Profit, since my start back in September is now standing at £2535.69 and I have a claim in against a casino who have welched on paying me out on a £560 win. I haven't lost any of my own money on that as it was all proceeds from a free spins offer.

Still happy to share the link if anyone else wants to pm me.

If you like matched betting I can highly recommend Yesbets. Makes life much easier as they track bets and balances, taking A LOT of effort out of it. Trust me I spent 6 months filling out a spreadsheet and it was a mission.

Ok, so we are 2 years in to this. Baring in mind I have 2 sets of accounts as I use my friends details and pay him 20% of what I make. butsince I started, I havent touched my wage for living expenses (food, nights out, clothes for me and daughter etc), paid off credit cards, have purchased a 3 series BMW convertible, spent about £5k on holidays and I still have a betting bank over £6k. If you want to get into it, you need to do it now as the net is closing in. I cant recommend it enough

This is a weird coincidence. I've been reading up on this all day and about to sign up for my first bets. What do you mean the net is closing in?

I think he means that the betting companies are developing ways to detect match betting and then banning the accounts that do it.

Because they are changing the offers. Saturday used to be really lucrative with second placed refunds on horses. Hills and Laddies changed it so its second to SP favourite which is pointless and not worth it. Thankfully, i never did these anyway but the majority of people did. They are also getting quicker to ban people if you dont make yourself look like a mug punter. If you are wanting to go down the route of paying for a service, do not use profit accumalator, use profit maximiser like I do. Even though they have 14k members and we have 6k, I assure you that you will make more from our service as all the loopholes that occur from time to time originate from our forum and are closed before they hit PA or MSE forums. I cleared £2k from the castle builder loop hole, £1.5k from a sky casino loop hole and £1k from monoply money loophole which were all closed before they hit PA and MSE forums

You adapt. There are enough offers out there that if you arent clearing £800-£1k a month you are doing it wrong

Thanks Marc, most of that went straight over my head :)

Fortunately I just want a few quid extra spending money I don't suppose I'll get into it to that degree.

Take your time though, I nearly bet on the wrong game but rigorous checks made sure I didn't haha.

I made £300 with all the initial free bets you get for joining, but never continued and waited for more deals, I suspect I shall do that soon though.

Do you use the software that pulls all the information together for you Marc?

Hi Guys,
I'm looking at giving this a go. I've been studying for a few days now and I'm leaning towards the paid service @Marc
recommend, profit maximiser.
If I'm correct it's an invite only service? Can anyone chuck me an invite please?

Cheers Cal, I'll see if Marc shows up if he can benefit from a referral.
What are your first opinions on the service?

Honestly I nearly wrapped it in after 20 minutes :p The setup is really well done though, and there is such a great pool of information. Eventually after logging on and off loads of times I made my first bet and ended up with 20 quid which was completely risk free, I've got another one coming in tonight, and I won 200 pounds on the bingo offers, with more games still to be played. So I've covered the yearly subscription already.

Marc has been kind enough to answer some questions for me also. So I'm going to carry on and just take it slow until I can do it without second guessing myself everytime I'm placing a bet :p

PA has done very well for me, £4k+ in 4 active months, and 6 months overall. For very little effort. I could have easily doubled that if I was giving it my all. That does Include lots from the SMM loophole @Marc ... :p

There are plenty of other firms out there helping people though. I'm sure PM are very good. I know a lot see PA as the young upstart. The originals over at MSE particularly.

I'm actually making more from Casino type offers, than traditional matched betting now though. Mostly because they aren't so timing specific and I can do them while I eat breakfast or endure the other half watching another repeat of Location... I don't have to worry about getting in-plays on etc.

I did sign up to PA last night, been reading it through this evening.

Do you NEED a BetFair account? I don't have an account but only way to get one is to phone them as for some reason it won't accept me online, had dealing with things on the phone haaa.

You can use alternatives like Smarkets, or Matchbook Gray, but to be honest, I'd start with Betfair as the markets tend to be busier.

Having said that, I do most of my football lays on Smarkets now as the commission is lower, but I still use Betfair occasionally. Also their Casino promotions are often quite profitable.

It is frustrating sometimes to have a bit of a slow start. You'll probably find that at some point you end up waiting for money to make it's way back to your account after withdrawals etc. All you want to do is more offers, but you can't because the money is in transit.

That does go away as your betting balance gets bigger though.

I now have a betting balance of £1,500 which lets me do most offers. It's not enough for really big days like covering every offer at Cheltenham etc. But day to day that's plenty. It only took me about 5 weeks to get there from an initial £100ish.

I wish I could get into this but I don't think I am smart enough to even try this. The only betting I do is the risk free bet offers bet365 gives out every now and again.

You don't have to be very smart, just check everything carefully. The paid for sites, well the one I use at least, hold your hand through it so it's not that hard.

I make a guaranteed, no risk, £30 every time Bet365 run their in play risk free offer. That's what Matched betting is all about.

Use smarkets wherever possible. 2% instead of 5% makes a massive difference, given the volume of bets placed.

I echo the sentiment above about casino offers. Just trust the maths. Yes, you may try 10-15 casino offers and win nothing, but the variance WILL even itself out. My biggest money maker is easily from the guy who did PM, he has acca software and I just go down the advantage play route with the accas. Today alone I cleared over £200 from them, granted, next weekend I may lose £100 but in the long run you will coin it in. Its all about the maths and maths dont lie.

One guy on our site, who was featured on lad bible, has 40 accounts so he clears £1.5k every time bet365 do that offer. Last year, they did it on both semi finals so I hope they do that again, easy £280 for me if they do
