I wish I could get into this but I don't think I am smart enough to even try this. The only betting I do is the risk free bet offers bet365 gives out every now and again.

There are 70 year old pensioners on our site doing it who have never placed a bet in their lives. google matchedbettingblog. Thats a great place to start

Cheers Cal, I'll see if Marc shows up if he can benefit from a referral.
What are your first opinions on the service?

Fast

Im not even bothered about a referral, but if you want my advice, use what I use. The guy who runs it is a genius. He has a variety of paid services you can use if you want so next time one comes out, you can get access before anyone else can and our community is by far, second to none. Lad at work used PA and when I got him to switch to ours, he couldnt believe how much better it was and it actually works out cheaper than PA

So the loophole we discovered cost Hills over £2million! Once they realised they started taking peoples money out of their bank accounts!! Next thing a firm of london solicitors were asking for anyone who had money taken to contact them for a class action lawsuit against hills so hills started calling people up and apologising and returning their money and giving them £50 as compensation :D

I did actually get around to doing it :) bagged 475 quid, but I've hit a bit of a wall at the minute so having a day or so away so I don't do stuff without a purpose. I've cleared a grand so far from bonus offers with various bookmakers, but I'm struggling with the next step i.e no bonuses.

You are a member of PM no? Just check the calender each day and attempt as many offers that day as your bank/time will allow. Yesterday there were tonnes of offers and today there is channel 4 racing. Just from the risk free offers yesterday you would have cleared about £40. Go easy on the casino offers though. For example, if there is an offer where you have to wager £100 for an +ev of £2, even though the offer is positive EV I wouldnt touch it. If it was £20 for +ev of £2 sure. Having my best month ever at the moment as the slots are being kind. Up over £2k in 10 days!

Also, if you have any friends/family members who wouldnt mind you using their details, just set them up a TSB online account to use, get a cheap smartphone from ebay (Iphone) all other phones suck for gambling, cheap sim (2g p/m) will suffice and away you go, you double what you make from using one friend. They need to have a passport or driving licence though and be able to prove their address etc for verification purposes. I just get my mate to send me a copy of a utility bill etc. Also doing it for my lass too but shes keeping 100% of what I make to get her out of a hole. I have friends queing to do it for them too and give them 20% but I dont have the time. A year ago you could do this full time no problem but its on a downward curve now because those idiots at PA have made it reach critical mass.

Yeah I need to have a look at the horses :) I'm just taking it slowly at the moment and cannot complain at all, I've had some nice 80 quid wins from free spins after rolling over the bonus cash, so it's all good.

Trust the maths. If a horse is 4/1 (5.0), it will win every 4 times meaning for every £200 staked (4 x £50), you will lose roughly £8 - £10 in qualifying losses over 4 attempts meaning once you make £35-£40 from your risk free bet you will clear £25 for every 4 bets. People will rubbish this of course but ive been doing this for so long that I know the maths is spot on.

Do not rely on tips, just pick any horse around odds of 5.0-6.0 with minimal qualifying losses.

That being said, my best advice is to not rely on horses. Betting on horses WILL get you banned. Ive had the best month ever so far, +£4.5k so far in May and have placed 4 horse bets all month.

Please tell me you all cleaned up on Ladbrokes grid in shop offer for both teams to score? Ive made about £1600 so far from them and could have made more if I just could have been bothered hitting more shops.

I missed out on that, been crazy with work.

I've done about £1600 since I started with various sign up freebies/risk free stuff. Although my bulk has been through casino offers. I'm hoping to do more sports bets during the euros to get my pot up a bit further. Then I can hopefully start to spend some of it haha

Current Euro 2016 offers

Stan James - Place a £20 bet on top goalscorer, get £5 everytime they score. Odds are currently way off to back/lay so im going to go down the advantage play route and not lay Greizman.

Sky bet - £10 on tournament winner, get a £3 free bet everytime they win. Im going with France over 3 accounts and not laying until later in the tournament, may not lay at all

Expekt - £25 on tournament winner, get a £5 free bet each time they progress a stage. Same as sky bet, not laying yet

Betclic - Same offer as Expekt.

@Marc I really wanna sit down and give this another try. Didn't fully understand it when I first tried (pre-this thread). Can you send me some links which explains how to do it please? I know you mentioned the blog, but sometimes you end up being overwhelmed with information.

If you're nervous about it @Bahumat, then definitely use one of the services out there that hold your hand through it. I used one service, but Marc uses a different one. I know the one that I used has videos for the first few offers which completely walk you through the process, I'm guessing Marc's does too, if not, I'm sure it's got really simple instructions. If you get in a muddle at all using one of these sites I'd be happy to answer your questions, although I only look on here once or twice a day. I think both sites have forums which you can use too.

The basic sign up offers are usually really straightforward to do. Once you've done 2 or 3 you'll wonder what you were worried about believe me. After that things can get a bit more complicated, but still not rocket science.

Thanks @Gumbo - I looked on the macthed betting blog @Marc mentioned and I feel like I understand the concept of bet's and lay bets. There are a couple of things I am unsure of though.

I did a bit of normal betting a few years ago, and when you sign up some places had "put £10 in your betting account and we will give you the same to bet with". There was always some kind of clause attached to the free bet (no not Santa Claus!).

I 'think' they would force you to bet X times the amount given before you could withdraw the money. I guess this is to stop people using the free bet, winning, then withdrawing everything.

Is this still a thing, and how do you get round this? Again, I think I understand the basic principal of bet/lay bet, but how do you get round this clause?

Also what things should I be wary of initially? I noticed there are qualifying bets, free bets and risk free bets. How comes they are treated differently (or appear to be treated differently).

Oh do you have a link to the one you use. If I look at both it should help me understand it.

I've pm'd you the link. it is an affiliate link thing and I'm not sure if posting that kind of thing is cool on here or not. You can do the first 3 offers on there, accompanied by videos before you have to subscribe so it's worth a look.

Some of the sign up offers do require you to bet x times the amount, or complete a 'rollover' of the funds as it's known before you can withdraw. There are 2 ways that you process that. One is you simply lose your bet at the bookies into the exchange on the lay side. Then you don't have a rollover to complete. Or you simply complete the rollover making sure that each bet that you place and lay doesn't lose you too much. You'll still be left with a decent return. The site I used, and I imagine Marc's does too, explains each offer in detail. Normally they suggest that you leave the rollover type offers until you've done all the simple ones, otherwise you can get quite a bit of your float tied up in them as you complete the rollover. Bet365 is one example where if you do the full £200, and results go the one way, you can need the best part of a grand tied up.

Do you gents who partake in match betting have a routine for doing it or do you just wing it?

I'd find myself sitting down to do some and then just not being sure how to go about doing stuff. I've done (on PA) all the beginner offers and some of the more advanced ones with myriad terms and conditions attached but a lot of those ones just don't seem to be worth the effort. I had some joy with refund Accas but they seem to have gone bye bye with the end of the football season.

So any routine/timetable tips?

There certainly aren't the offers out there that there were a few months ago. Whether this is long term, or just because the bookies had a mare (hehe) at Cheltenham, etc I don't know, but it has become harder work. I've been mad busy with real work this month so I haven't put much effort in at all. I imagine there'll be a decent wedge to be made through the Euros, and then it won't be long before a new footie season again.

In the meantime, I'm learning more and more about trading, and seeing if there's a future there. It's quite a lot of fun, but challenging as well. It does remind be of the learning curve a lot of us experienced back in the dawn of FPS games on the internet. Where you suck bad at first, but spend enough hours in front of the screen and it all starts to come together. A lot of people doing the trading have come at it through matched betting. No reason why you can't do both as well.

I check profit maximiser calendar and hit as many offers as I can. Then I check our Facebook forum for any offers on there that aren't on the calendar. It's as simple as that. I get asked this question so many times and the simple answer is just do as many offers as you can

Spent yesterday afternoon driving around all the ladbrokes in the Blackpool - Blackburn area. Around 34 shops. Took 2 mates with me to set up grid cards to. If both teams score tonight I'm looking at about £1300 profit. If both teams score and Atletico win, double that!

Aye mate, I'm just playing it sensible and I've been fortunate riding out the EV :) trying to get a few friends involved so I can relive the signup bonuses again! As I opted for low sign ins as I was just starting out. I'm just gonna keep building my pot for the euros and I'm just about to head out and get myself some laddies grid cards!

Nice result for you last night eh :)

Had another question guys...
So the odds are supposed to be close between the two teams playing (so you don't lose much which ever way it goes?), but one team 'always' has a slight advantage.
Let's say Man Utd vs Spurs. Let's say Spurs get a few players injured the week before and the match is at Old Trafford, so the advantage is in Man Utd's favour.

Should the team with the advantage always be bet on when you're at william hill/ladbrookes etc, then the lay bet for Man Utd not to win?

I guess what I'm asking is how do you know which team to bet on at the bookmakers (not the lay bet).
