You're loving this, aren't you?!?!?! :D I'm not having a go - good on you guys for putting the effort in to make it work for you and fuck the bookies! :D

It is quite a bit of effort but absolutely worth it!

It will be cut by the morning, probably to 1.55

That is the key "taking action"

Just thought I'd resurrect this thread as I just passed £10k profit this morning since starting in Sept 2015. I hardly matched bet now, just every now and again for a good offer, but the same service I use lists loads of casino offers which consistently give me £3-£500 a month for roughly an hours work a day, perhaps 5 days a week. I make that roughly £16 per hour tax free :) . The traditional matched betting has got a lot harder, but there's still lots to be made especially if you can do all the sign up offers.

Well done for beating the odds, an unbelivable feat making you about 0.5% of gamblers.

You're a fool.

I've managed to educate lots of people after 2 minutes of conversation that it isn't gambling.

However, after 8 pages you still think it's gambling.

lol.

Well its using gambling mechanics to ensure that you always come out on top.

So in essence you are gambling but with a guaranteed posative out come.

I stopped doing it at Uni, then I picked it up again when I finished my PGCE - Made another £400 then I spent it all, which meant I couldn't continue to do it.

When I have more money to invest in it I'll start picking up properly - sign up to one of the subscription services or something.

OK, researched it , how do you prevent them limiting your account or even putting you on a blacklist.

The only time they limit you is if you try to make multiple accounts - other limits are temporary - identity checks etc.

They can stop giving you offers which is called 'gubbing' It does happen, it's only happened to me on accounts which I hammered horse racing offers.

Blacklisting shouldn't happen across bookies because of Data Protection, but I imagine that with several bookies often owned by the same parent, if they wanted to they could probably write that into their T's and C's.

The simple answer is that sometimes bookies stop giving out offers to you. You just accept it and move on. Or of course wait a few weeks and see if your wife develops an interest in gambling...

I don’t do it as much as I used to these days due to time constraints etc but I hammered December as it’s always a good month and cleared £7k for the month but casino variance was well on my side. These days I just “fire and forget” advantage play accas. Can be a rocky ride but you just have to trust the EV and it’s fun.

If you do get gubbed, some don’t actually restrict you so you can just hammer them on EWS. Made a fortune on Boxing Day using gubbed accounts for EWS

So after dipping my toes back in, in December. I thought I would see what the landscape is like and decided to hammer it in January. I set myself limits such as I was only allowed to do it once my daughter was in bed and Saturday was my day off. In the past I would ignore offers like bet 5 get 5 as my time would be best spent elsewhere. This time I did everything possible. Totals for January:-

Advantage play ACCA’s - £367.84
Arbs/EWS - £96.54
Sports offers - £438.92
Casino - £2769.74

So there is still life in the old dog yet! However, it was exhausting and didn’t feel as enjoyable as it did in the past.

For people who have yet to have a go at it, I would say as a conservative estimate, you could easily make £300-£500 a month with little time outlay, ie, just from offers that book makers email to you. That translates to an extra wage of £5k - £9k a year before tax. I’m sure everyone would love a pay rise like that for spending 10 mins here and there on their phone!

My brother made around £3.5k in a month - I think it's mainly the casino offers like yourself, I haven't had a crack at them myself, looks too complicated and time consuming.

But I'll probably bash some out over easter/summer.

It’s not time consuming per se but the variance can be a nightmare. I personally know of someone who was £25k down until variance swung in his way and he’s now £40k up. I personally cannot handle that swing in variance which has always stopped me from going balls deep in the high risk casino offers even though you should trust the EV and I have the bank to handle it but mentally just no!
