Lakih, you seem to miss the point that they touch up screenies, it uses the UT (first) engine apparently, so youre propably in for a rather blocky look as opposed to curvacious femmé fatales.

it looks great, not blocky at all...

the gameplay is just boring tho....having VERY limited combat skills which you don't want to use too often (at least, upto level 20 orso. it's suppost to get slightly better after that) and it's just grinding besides....even the quests are basic grinds...
"collect xx <item>" which requires you to kill the listed mob a number of times (between 40 and 70) the only variation on that was a sword quest...it required you to kill a named mob 3 times...sadly it's always camped and has a respawn rate of 10 minutes....so expect to be waiting in line for it for at least half an hour.....3 times....

it's looks really are it's redeeming feature....tho the dark elf is FAR over the top....

and well at least its skill system and crafting are more interesting then daoc...

If you liked daoc, lineage 2 is definetly worth a try, i enjoyed it while i had a go, seemed to be easy to pick up and the gfx are actually VERY nice for an online game.

yes indeed, the gfx are nice, the women are great and its in fact not too bad. just that when i tried it it was in chinese or something so it wasnt too fun

Well I've been beta testing it and I can tell you some stuff.

It looks nice, the handeling of the char is CRAP, you run by clicking where you want to run!?
Yes I know that in the reasent patch we got to run with arrowkeys, but its slow in-percise.
It's got PvP and PK, with can be fun, but the whole karma thing is very frustrating and hard to get off if you kill someone.

The last few days alot of ppl have gotten invites to beta and when i ran back to Dark Elf village my copmuter almost crashed
If you think a HUGE excal alb relic raid is laggy well you have to see this

I don't really think this game suites a broad band of ppl, the hardcore ppl will play it.

The interface feels very old and not very friendly.
You can't custimze buttons, invert mouse, nada nothing.

Maybe in a couple of patches things will look different, but as it's developed by koreans and I played Lineage 1 (was the first MMORPG I played) It feel very much similar but with a 3D engine.

The nice thing is the chronicles, they have 12 lined up, and with every one they expand the land (world), make new stuff to do, new skills and whatnot.

The game could be great.
