The Saudis are probably funding ISIL, if not officially, then certainly lots of Saudi citizens are sending cash, as well as lots of other Gulf money (rumour is the Qataris are the major bankers of ISIL). And this is a big problem with your defence of ISIL,in Iraq they are a Sunni minority committing atrocities against a Shia majority, pretty much an fundamentalist version of the Ba'athists who ran Iraq under Saddam.
