Well, prolly bit less time inc when I start at school again, thought i'd make a fun and relaxing solo/duo class. (debate whether playing stealther is fun or relaxing atm somewhere else :p)
The infil will be autotrained from level 1, and will have a 50 enh buffbot when done. Spec will be the 50thrust, 44CS, 36stealth, 36envenom (lifebane at rr4) and 19dualwield.

Questions:

When making a template i've understood that skills should be +11 CS/stealth. Do I include +11 DW AND +11 thrust or just one of them? How will that affect my damage, will prolly mainly use the CS style line + Dragonfang. Found it quite hard to fit in both +11 DW and +11 thrust. (will swap items for +11 env)

Are Golden Spear / Crocodile Tooth Dagger viable weapon options? Capping style damage is prolly nice, but any other nice static drop 4.0+ spd mainhand thrusters in alb? Want to avoid LW's as much as possible, altho they are nice, I think they look abit silly. Looks > all :p

Anyone got any good thrust infil temps w/o LW's, fairly easy temp? Cba to hassle to much with it, budget will be around 130-150plats + plenty self farming. (DS necro / (upcoming) ML9 sorc + bb

Anything else I should know of? tips and tricks etc :)

More on a serious note. GS + ctd is good, but tbh lw's >>>>>> gs any day of the week. But if you hate the looks I guess there's not much to be done. :p I'll go see if I can make something quick, no promises though since I havn't made stealther templates much.

Looks decent, but again to the question, what does +11 thrust / DW do :)
Think i'll go for the Golden Spear tho, maybe swap to heat lw when fighting assassins

+11 thrust won't do anything since you're 50 thrust. +dw increase your chance to swing offhand.

+11 dw will increase chance to hit off hand. each point is an extra 0.5% chance to dw, so this is good

+11 thrust will affect thrust styles, since u will probably only use dfang, its not worth +11 thrust just to increase the damage of one style a fight.

gs/ctd will be great vs non stealth classes, but when fighting sbs etc u will get a shit load of resist. i would recommend templating ctd off hand then leaving the main hand free of stats. this way u can use gs for chain, heater for assasin cold for archer etc. this gives the best damage output imo

as for the template etc search vn boards and u will probably come up with a good one, cba to make one ;p

+11 thrust > +0 thrust since it uppers basedmg on mainhand. (more weaponskill) Why do you think a rr9 infil hits harder then a rr1 infil? :)
Every rr he goes up, +1 will be added to thrust and so you will have more weaponskill, even if you have 50 thrust spec.

+1 to thrust (even with 50 specced thrust) will add 11 points to your Weaponskill.

as a result, +11 will add 121 points to your weaponskill. You willdo more dmg :)

As for DW, as said before. Every +1 to DW will add you 0.5% chance to hit with offhand.

+ to CS will give you more style dmg.

no. it has been proven (wyrd tests) that 36+15 (composite 51) spec in baseline damage when using cs styles is exactly the same as 50+15

Made a temp for ya. offhander is v nice, my duo partner uses it, when it procs its as high as 80 extra dmg per duel swing. and main hand debuffs dmg for both weps so not bad either. here we go:

83 if no quick at creation, + 92 from d/q, 175, so 75 from sc to get it 250. Not 100% at the 83 quickness if no quickness at start though, took the info from the char builder at http://daoc.catacombs.com.

for my saracen inf with no qui at creation i need +63 (maybe 64) to hit 250.

you might want to take a look at what you put your starting points into because no qui @ creation means you need 74qui to cap (or 84 if inconnu)

lol, thats strange, my inf have +11 slash +11 cs +11 dw +11 stealth in a 99 qua temp. 25 str cap (ok ok no dex cap but who cares for slash) and Heat cold spirit matter crush slash thrust resists capped oO From 150p u should have way better temp imo.

Edit: Stats maxed got some hits cap too, like 100

Well atm, i'm aiming for as high dex/str cap as possible. body, cold, heat, spirit, crush, thrust, slash as close to capped as possible w/o using the mainhand. Got +59 qui atm, which means I need Augqui1 for 249qui. As much ToA bonus as possible. +11CS, +11Stealth +as much DW as possible. And some good /use items to use in and out of combat.
Got most of the items atm, had lots of items from before on my merc which never became anything of, so won't be using near as much cash:)
