The Gulf at the moment. Some governments seem hell bent on going in and many of their citizens do not. How do they display their dispeasure? Some in quiet letters I guess but who hears about them? Do they sway decisions? Probably not. Thats where public demonstrations and protests come in.

But he didnt name it slobodan superman, he named it slobodan, its like i should name a character Thomas(which btw, is a very common name in more than one country), and then some swedish guy would complain that it reminded him of Thomas Kvick(dunno if the name is spelt right but) who is a swedish murderer and that he was offended by it.

Should the name Thomas be changed then? seriously? do you have any idea how redicilous that sounds?

Copyright is only protected if the person using it is making money on it. So having a copyright name in game isnt illegal.

Using names of former PResidents etc etc isnt "polital"

Have to give credit to Commie for a very nice post. Must have taken some time to put something like that together. My honest opinion is that anyone reporting "Slobodan" as offensive, based only by a firstname, should be hung by the balls. Its a common name as others have stated, nuff said. You can take almost any firstname and twist it into a CoC breach so to me this whole thing is stupid.

Oh, and the first thing I thought about when I saw a char named Slobodan was a guy in an awesome swedish movie called "Torsk på Tallinn". That made me laugh.
