That's what I find funny.

Job finds hands to be suspicious.

But he's not bothered about copying 1930s Germany with huge rallies shouting the same thing over and over again until everyone claps in time with you.

Anyone else see the massive irony in a Corbyn fan comparing something to 1930's Germany?

You mean comparing Trump rallies shouting "lock her up" to 1930's germany?

Seems apt to me.

Or are you trying to roll out that old trope about national "socialism" meaning that hitler was a leftie, rather than the far-right asshat he clearly was.

No. Just the fact that Corbyn is an enormous antisemite.

Lol. You're funny.

And weirdly like the politicians we appear to hate. Rather than being honest in day-to-day conversation you're rather toe the bullshit-line because it's somehow on-message.

He clearly isn't. He's clearly anti-zionist. Obviously so. It's just weird that you'd rather talk party-line shit on freddyshouse...

@Bodhi doesn't like Corbyn because he's scared he'll have to pay more tax.

The irony is that you complained about the Brexit campaign being undermined by calling them all racists etc, yet you're doing the same for Corbyn. :)

Well if he isn't, considering the number of people calling him that, I assume the court case for libel is in the works?

No, I just don't like him because I don't fancy having to eat our cat.

The left and the right have completely swapped places over the last 40 years, so its hard to context Hitlers political base.

Id call him a traditionalist with no conscience for the process

Oh. You're just repeating it just because lots of other people are saying it.

I absolutely believe that there should be higher taxation for everyone earning over 60k per year in the UK.... However I do not want Corbyn as PM...Nothing to do with his anti-Zionism - I believe he is letting his party down by sitting on the Brexit fence and by doing this he was a very very weak opposition for May.

Personally I think there could be flat rate tax - and corporations/businesses should be subject to that. No loopholes.

Amazon paid 4.6m in corp tax last year. Judging on turnover alone I pay corp tax at (conservatively) a hundred times their rate....

You can't pay corporation tax on turnover, it just flat out doesn't work, so your point is moot.

There's only one way to fix Amazon and the like's serial under payment of taxes, ban political lobbying and ban tax subsidies for companies over a certain size, and neither of those things will happen so long as the US exists.

Cool. I'll go with the many people praising him. That does mean I'll be rubbing shoulders with Abu Hamza, Hamas, David Duke, Nick Griffin David Icke and other popular Jew-hating nutcases, but hey, random dude on internet forum says he isn't anti-semetic, so he musn't be. The facts that he rubs shoulders with anti-semites, his party is the first to be hauled in front of the EHRC since the BNP, 9 MP's left his party because of it, and he's just welcomed another anti-semite into Parliament are neither here nor there.

Sorry, but if it walks like a duck, and quacks like one, chances are it isn't a fucking sheep.

And whilst his crusade to put right burning injustices is to be commended, it is intriguing how he turns a blind eye to far worse human rights violations in Iran, Russia, China etc. You have to wonder what's different about Israel to provoke his ire so much?

I guess it's the same way he promotes dialogue with those he disagrees with, unless they're the US, Ulster Unionists or Israel themselves.

Ah bless. Someone thinks if you put tax rates up, the tax take will always increase.

I'd reply, but I think any sane person looks at the "jezzas mates with abu" comment and makes their own mind up.

Doesn't matter if the tax take increases or not. @Yoni's advocating a system which seems to produce healthier, better educated, happier people than the UK - in a country that produces more billionaires per head of population than blighty.

Perfect? No. Better? Maybe.

Proof that correlation does not equal causation. The Swiss are also healthier, happier, better educated and not short of a billionaire or 3, wouldn't you rather we used their system instead?

Ah no, because they don't clobber "the rich", meaning the green-eyed monster which is never far away from your posts just wouldn't be satisfied. In fact you show that with your first post. What's the point of taxation policy, if not to bring in as much taxation as possible?

I didn't say they were mates, just that he was the latest in a long line of dubious people giving him an endorsement. He is mates with Hamas though - he's said as much. And they fucking LOVE Jewish people.

I’m not actually sure what you are sarcastically getting at? It is fully clear to me that your salary is high enough that an increase in taxation for earnings over 60k will affect you which is why you are so negative to suggestions that can impact society at a small detriment to the individual.... You do know that when you die no one will remember you for your super fast car or awesome investment portfolio....

Maybe that's because Corbyn is aware that if you want a long lasting peace you have to engage all parties involved.

I take it you disagree with the Good Friday Agreement?

Sure, bring it on, but bring the accountable political system that comes with it or it won't work. The Swiss have low taxes because they make direct choices at an extremely devolved level; people know the exact implications of their voting and their tax choices.

You do. So why does he only ever talk to one side of the argument?

And I do hope you aren't giving Corbyn credit for the GFA. Even his mates in the IRA will happily tell you he had fuck all to do with it.

I'm guessing he was present but not involved.

I'm not going to post my salary on here, but rest assured if taxes went up for those earning over 60k I would be currently unaffected. However if they did, and I was offered a job over that amount, I would think twice about taking it if the extra cash went to HMRC, and I had a lot of extra stress for nothing. HMRC would end up losing out, leaving less money for public services.

As I said, the focus should be on tax take, rather than absolute rates. If lower rates bring in more money, HMRC have more cash to play with, and people have more money in their pockets to spend on stuff, which is also taxed. That's a win-win in my book.

Nah, I'm not giving Corbyn credit for the GFA.

He talks to the side which is labelled as the 'terrorist' group, because history has shown that in order for us to have a good peaceful process, all parties need to be involved, and as I said, Corbyn has been doing it for a long time.

Same deal with Hamas, they're going to have to be involved in order to come to an agreement, as they have lots of public support, now you can happily call all the Palestinians terrorists because of this, but the reality is that they're supporting groups who offer a solution to their awful position.

Imagine if there wasn't an armed response from Palestine, the Muslims would have been wiped out YEARS ago, but I guess that's the optimal solution ;)

That's utterly, utterly, amazingly retarded. (Or you're simply lying)

You wouldn't take a massive pay rise because, proportionally, HMRC would take a bit extra in taxes from your pay packet? You're talking shite.

Boss: Hi Bodhi. We want to increase your wage from 55 to 68 grand. You will have to pay a bit extra tax on the stuff over 60 grand, but you'll still take home a fair few thousand pounds more. Happy?

Bodhi: No thanks. I'm so bitter that I'd have to pay a bit more proportional tax on the extra money that I'd rather not receive that extra money in the first place.

Boss: Ooookayyy. It looks like I've made a mistake. You're clearly too retarded for that position. In fact, I'll be reviewing your position when it comes the next round of redundancies - because your special needs have been clearly sailing under the radar...

If.

But the if isn't really borne out in the real world. It's an outdated model that doesn't seem to work. In fact, it's not been working in our low-tax economy - so that millions feel disenfranchised and we can't fund our services properly.

And you won't even coutenance higher company taxes. Fucking rofl.

Also when @Bodhi gets into a hiring/firing position and he's shocked at how shit all the new people are because of lack of education funding.

Probably blame the EU or something.
