Gaming dreams

I know I'm not alone in having these... half a bottle of wine and too much gaming is 90% guaranteed to give me surreal gaming-related dreams.

Lastnight I dreamt I was assaulting some villa in the countryside in a complete mixture of Silent Storm, BF:V, Splinter Cell, Beyond Good and Evil and Sacred. It was deeply weird - kind of cartoony and with funny, kids-TV-show style enemies but with amazingly graphic and realistic weapons and violence and lots of sneaking about.

Was a great game tbh, someone should make it - the mother of all genre crossovers

only dream i ever had about computer games, that i can remember, was that i was in a CS match bodily. And that was the only dream I've had of the game, and it was during the height of my addiction around beta 6-7.

But yes, that would be the mother of all crossovers indeed

Think after playing Silent Hill 1 (PS), I had nightmares about being caught in the middle of it for a few days.

Waking up in a cold sweat after having one wasn't nice.

I had one quite recently actually where i was one of the ninja bloky things in Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, it was a multiplayer map with a yard and a old house. I just remember doing these moves from Tenchu on this science doctor bloke, then dissappearing. Then I sneaked to the house and we could all see this red dot on our radars yet nobody could fins it.

Then I realised he was upstairs, so up i went to find my old secondary school mate perched with a sniper rifle. I slit his throat then pushed him over the banister to watch the ragdoll.

Then I woke up feeling very disturbed indeed.

I have the strangest dreams as is, let alone when I dream about games. Last night I dreamt I was flying about in the X universe. I wonder why?

I used to go to sleep and have dreams with the laser fire effects from a BBC from playing too much Elite.

Since then it's only really been CS related dreams of playing in matches and getting really frustrated at Leggy ... oh sorry that was real :touch:

I had a dream recently that my Badger mk2 industrial ship was under attack by pirates in EVE I was trying to run but at only 97m/s I couldn't get away then... I woke up as my ship blew up. I was convinced I'd lost my ship in game and could only console myself when I logged in to find my ship safe in the station :uhoh:
