As soon as I saw the first dragonet, I had a deja vu moment of Anne McCaffrey's Dragons of Pern. They looked like full grown fire lizards, even though they're baby dragons.

You know you find a series good when you want the next series to start.
For me it's Fringe.

I don't buy box sets. I will be buying this though.

It is excellent, better than Rome, Deadwood, Spartacus, The Unit, Jericho, Sopranos and The Wire. HBO have a real winner on thier hands.

BE has yet to get anywhere close to hitting it's pace. I loved Sopranos but after 6 years it had no ending, most of the major storylines were left unresolved. The Wire in it's prime was excellent, however I felt it really lost it's way for a season or two, as much as I enjoyed it so far GoT as been far better produced/acted/scripted. Sorry if you disagree but then that is what opinions are for.

Agree that Game of Thrones has been great so far, but it has a long, long way to go to surpass The Wire and/or The Sopranos. Boardwalk Empire was pretty on par with Game of Thrones in terms of strong first seasons imo, totally drew me in more and more as it went on.

a lot of new characters to come for Clash of Kings,

Stannis is one that I believe that they could do with giving a big named actor for the role though,

hopefully rest can be young up and comers from theatre etc like Kit harrington etc...
