It's hard to judge GoT the show having read the books. It's hard to tell how much someone who hasn't read the books will understand some of the more subtle parts etc, cos I already know about them so I see them if that makes sense. Some of the changes annoy me a bit as they don't seem to add anything to it or save any time.... It is a decent show and some of the casting is great (Araya, The Hound, Tyrion, Tywin, Bronn). Show's and films are never as good as the books for people who enjoy reading etc, but this is a pretty decent stab at it and stays fairly true, the first series was great and it started to deviate afterwards like Robb's wife.... wtf was that all about?? Looking foward to peoples reactions in the next few weeks tho

My main gripe is taht in the books Jon Snow is the best character, in the series he is about as exciting as watching Stoke play.... not sure if kit harrington can't act for shit of if they jus decided to portray him as a boring sulky uptight prick.

This version was ok though, it was way more offensive and cuntlike than the book version.

I think that's what is so good about it. Good characters are generally replaced by better ones and it gives you something to hate the baddies about. I was gutted about the red wedding when reading the book and I wont spoil it but things get better.

You need to change your perception of good and bad, those who appear to make evil actions may be doing it for a greater good and people change.

The thing I hate about the walking dead is the only characters who ever die are extras and ones who were just introduced as fodder, except for the odd one or two a season. As a result its impossible to give a shit as all the main characters feel immortal (and they're stupid as fuck)

Half way through episode 2. Peter Dinkypoos is using the word "whore" a lot.

GoT is seriously enjoyable. Big budget. Great story. Characters you love, hate, and want to see naked. Again. Specifically Emilia Clarke. Not Ned Starke.

Walking Dead was utterly dreary. Watch a couple of episodes and you've seen them all. Zombies have been done to death. Can't compare the two shows.

All zombie stories rely on the protagonists being more stupid than dead people. Its what's so utterly tedious about the genre.

Walking dead isnt even a zombie show. Its 55min boring pointless drama and people being emo and stupid as fuck and the occasional zombie segment to force some action.
