Am I the only one disappointed at the lack of dragon sex?

Was a very good episode, really enjoyed it. I really hope someone jams a sword through Joff's neck soon though.

It's memorial day, nobody watches tv so everything takes a week break.

Brilliant episode, shame there is only one episode left remaining.

I did see some spoilers about this Red Wedding, but was unsure if it was this wedding or Joffrey's. It was played perfectly. I knew shit was gonna go down as soon as i heard the Rains of Castemere.

While i did see spoilers for the Red Wedding, i didn't know who died in it. The Starks have now been reduced to a couple of children (+ Jon Snow), how exactly do they recover - If they do that is, with season 3 i would maybe expect a new family to come about, but still slightly disappointed!

Not sure how they are going to do the next series (and the one after that!)

The books are split, both the same time period but each one focusing on different areas/groups of characters.

Well disappointing is very harsh but I have to admit I was a but underwhelmed. Possibly because if you knew what was coming it lost the shock value and also the episode direction was very low key. Maybe that was intentional.

The only real surprise for me is they killed Robbs wife too, that's a huge departure from the books where she's still alive with the baby.

John Snow's escape was fucked up, not how it happened. A very tense scene in the book got turned into a pretty average scene...though they haven't touched on John Snow's story enough anyway...

The Red wedding, none of the tension, just a bloodbath. It felt like one of those scenes in shit TV shows where they kill off a load of the cast for the sake of it.

Rob's wife getting killed, so that's a possible story arc removed from the book without it happening in the book...

Arya's relationship with Clegane, rushed.

Still not enough Hodoring!

Edit - Also, a fuckton of important story to cram into the last episode, unless they leave some until the next series...or make it like the fastshow.

Nice facepalm though, -English- probably not read the book I guess? Or unable?

I think some of the stories get too much time, and others no where near enough.

PS. How do I spoiler?

Not everyone has read the books. I haven't and therefore don't really give a shit about the books, I watch the series. I enjoyed the episode immensly.

I thought it was an excellent episode, and I have read the books. Yes I would like more Jon Snow time but its a tv series and it is restricted for time. That said...
Killing a pregnant woman, and knifing her in the womb to boot ... that shit is just nasty :/ Also where was the declaration making Jon Snow successor to Robb?

You know book 3 is being split over two series right?

Season 3 in, it's late and pointless to declare disappointment at the series every departure fro the book's storyarc. Some have been necessary, some bit more questionable, but foolish to not understand why they are there.

errr. Failure to read the thread much?

I think the series has been excellent. I thought a few parts of it that were sort of tied off in that episode were disappointing.

But sorry...How dare people not think it's the best thing since the Wire though, right?!

I stopped reading the books so that I could enjoy the TV series without the spoilers etc. Came as quite a shock and thought the episode was excellent.
Interested to see if the Tully's will react.
Was hoping that the city take over scenes were more extended. Like killing all the city leaders

Great series can't wait until Sunday.
