If you're a true nerd like me, this is really worth a watch. You'll probably read a lot on forums over the next while about "low ISO pattern noise" (banding..) which Canon have never really got on top of. Sony sensors have addressed fixed pattern noise on their CMOS sensors and as such offer superior dynamic range at low ISO (could be interesting how the D800 stacks up against the 5D Mk3 given it's a good bit cheaper and will use a Sony derived sensor....).
