Ok... an explanation ... your post was exactly demonstrative of the kind of childish and purile posting we have been discussing throughout this thread when talking about those named in your quote. I considered it somewhat ironic that you expressed outrage at being grouped with them in a post which was clearly so very similar to the kind of behaviour we were discussing. I tried to convey this by quoting your post and indicating that therein lay the explanation you were looking for.

Right. Firstly I think that Coim and Flesh didn't warrant a post count nerf, because they were not doing random spam. If you read their posts they are actually taking a part in the threads rather than solely working for the post count.

Well it is my business to the extent that I have been asked to mod on FH, albeit not specifically the DAOC areas, and I am keen to encourage the trouble makers to calm down and post sensibly. I fully intend to leave the modding to the specific mods for DAOC but as I used to play DAOC I have a fair idea about a number of the folks around here and during this transition I am taking a look across all areas. When people calm down a little I doubt you'll see much of me round here at all tbh...

I have also been very familiar with the old DAOC forums (same nick -go look back on Barrysworld if you like), was an active E&E rep on Prydwen for over a year and I am hardly coming into the situation 'half way through'.
