The ocean waves lap gently over a small, pebbled beach at the base of limestone cliff. An elderly woman stands aloft, her thin dress held tightly around her as she shivers from the cold sea breeze. She gazes down at her husband, his small boat bobbing calmly in tune with the swell of the water, and watches him cast his fishing rod.
It is a scene she has witnessed countless times. After a few hours her husband will return, possibly with the day's catch, possibly empty-handed, but always at ease and happy to be home again. Today the scene leaves her uneasy. Today, something is wrong.
She searches the picture in front of her, trying to identify the source of her discomfort. She stands for an hour before realising, quite suddenly that there are no seagulls. Usually they would circle overhead, eager for an easy kill. Today there are none. She pulls her dress closer around her and stares at her husband's small, lonely boat.
The old woman is struck by how dark the sea is. There are few clouds in the sky yet the small area of the ocean underneath her husband seems bathed in deep shadow. As she stares closer the shadow appears to move irregularly. She shrugs her hunched shoulders and turns back towards the house.
In the shallows of the sea, DaveMech stirs drowsily and watches the gentle movement of the small fishing boat above him.
A small ripple catches the boatman's eye. He leans over the edge just a little bit, and notices a fish swim on by, almost laughing at him. The boatman thinks nothing of it and sits back against his deck chair. Another ripple hits the boat, this time it begins to rock slightly...
Suddenly the bout is overturned as davemech erupts from out the water. re-programmed by a denzine of the dark order, davemech uses the fishing boat as a hat and grabs the woman. he then procceeds to ravish her infront of her stunned husband
