But Michael Moore is up himself and as for the one on guns in the US it was frankly shite - its only when you look at stuff like this you realise how good UK TV is - particularly on doing reasonably objective documentaries.

All Mr Moore does is decide on his take of things then only shows evidence that supports this view in the best traditions of miscarriages of justice everywhere :twak:

Whens he doing one on Kennedy or Roswell?... they would be right up his alley...

Michael Moore has just realized how to get the message out to people. As evert article in every paper, and every documentary, they reflect the creator´s thoughts.

Michael Moore is really good at making people think, he shows a lot of evidence, some of it might be fake, but you can´t say he haven´t got a point. Or you could, but I do not think that many people think that =)

yes there are people that make better more objective articals but the thing is they only go out to the people who are interested in them and know roughly what they will contain.

Mr Moore reaches a new audience (especialy in the us) who otherwise might not have an inkling of what a corrupt society they live in. The only problem is that he seems to be getting an inflated ego and losing sight of the issues he is trying to fight, he seems to think that people are supporting HIM not his cause.

Thus the use of the word reasonably as in not entirely objective but not on the completely subjective end where you will find Mr Moore...

Yes, all nicely edited and musiced up for full effect, as Homer would say

'Marge he must be evil..listen to the music'

But what's scary is that if just 5% were true it's still horrendous.

ofc he is subjective, as i said every documentary is. But Bowling for columbine, and every other documentary, has a point, a statement to prove and he does that brilliant. (that is, imo, to show how affected US are by television among the issues)

When you create something, you do it with a purpose. Lets say "I would like to show my people how corrupt the government is" then you wouldn't include material where you are proven wrong, would you?

What government isn't corrupt? Even if they aren't skimming money into Swiss bank accounts, they all have special interest groups that they receive money from and traditional supporters that they will favour.

Its all a form of corruption.
