Exchange/Outlook attachment problem

If I receive an email with an attachment on, save the attachment to the required folder. Then remove the attachment from the email and save it.

Is it possible to leave a path of what was attached to the email?

You can. You just need to right click on the message and select edit and type the path of where you saved the attachement.

Why do you want to remove the attachment anyway?

Erm, we just got a whole new windows server thingy installed and we are unsure how we are going to manage emails/attachments
