I don't understand what happened there

It was a fleet of 21 stealth bombers (3 wings of 7). Stealth bombers are a ship that can cloak and can fire bombs. Bombs arent targeted, they just travel 30km in the direction you launch them which make boming runs extremely difficult. In this video, the bombing runs were perfect meaning these 21 ships took out close to 180 ships.

I resubbed after 6 months away, nice to see new stuff. Pain setting up my overviews again though. Just been doing some high sec exploration while marveling at how pretty this game actually is.

ah man what a complete knobhead, just lost my Omen being a noob....

doing a mission, had long range lasers and been carving through everything keeping them at range. then all of a sudden on this one got warp scrambled and slowed by some little destroyer and couldnt hit him as he was in under my weapon range and couldnt get away.

instead of doing the sensible thing and killing off all his mates, went into complete panic mode and sat there ineffectively trying to kill him so i could warp out and watched my ship slowly ground to dust

had to refit maller for revenge and now down to 17 mill in the bank, bugger.

This will probably end badly for CFC though, given that every man and his dog from nulsec will join in on HBC's side.

Lets not forget, TEST are awful at EVE. Their grunts have the attention span of a goldfish and even following simple orders is difficult for them, however, when you factor in they will be flying with Pandemic Legion, The Initiative, Raiden, NC, Nulli Secunda and a host of other competent allies, it becomes a different story. I would say, supercap/Titan wise, its about even. The only advantage CFC has now is the fact their grunts are used to SOV warfare and the tedium it brings, plus we have DaBigRedBoat who will lead fleets 24/7 to grind SoV.

Lets see what happens when the dust settles.....

So there was a 2 hour skype conference between Mittani (Leader of Goonswarm), Vee (Goonswarm head FC), Endie (Goonswarm head diplomat) and Shadoo (Leader of Pandemic Legion) and it has been decided there will be no war Why Montolio (leader of test and the guy why is trying to push for war) was not invited I dont know, but to me it seems Pandemic Legion are scared of losing all their tech moons in the north so have reigned in Montolio and TEST.

I started playing this the other day for the 2nd time, what a relief when I found out you didn't have to bother with learning those attribute skills anymore.

Enjoying the tutorial and hope I stick with it as it has always been a game I have hugely admired, and the skill learning system actually benefits me now.

Any of you eve vets could help me with what skills i need to pvp in a light ship? have no bloody clue

What ship will you use? There are some skills that works on all ships but each faction requires quite a few specific skills.

Been too long since i played so i can't give any specific tips...

There's literally boatload of skills that you need trained to at least 1 or 2 to be able to use the modules.

Look up the following modules and train the skills required:
Microwarpdrive
Warp disruptor
Stasis Webifer
Damage Control

Also, which race of ships are you flying? Will determine if you use armor or shield tanking skills.

My race is Minmatar, I would like to fly fast and light attack ships, warp in do the business and get back out before anyone knew what hit them if that's possible.

Also Attributes when i last played you could fiddle about with them to train certain skills faster, right now my Gunnery lvl 4 and onto lvl 5 is going to take around 6 days is there any Attributes i can raise to help take the time down a little?

If I were you, join eve uni or one of the red v blue corporations. Any of these will get you learning the basics of pvp in light ships. Personally I'd go for one of the red v blue corporations

Yep, 700 billion. We had 800 ships they had 1800. 700 billion is one months income for us so all ships hve been replaced. If any of you new players are wanting to get into fights like this in nullsec, I'd seriously suggest reading up on the politics and whos who of nullsec as this is what makes it interesting

Yeah, certs aren't a bad place to start, some of them are a little weird, but aiming for elite Soldier / Special forces definitely wont harm you. Join up with eve uni, you'll have a blast even if their rules are a bit rigid. Good place to make some friends, then head out into the big bad world together.

Yeah, grind Kill missions until you have a ship capable of exploration as its in lo sec so pretty dangerous. Do you have cybernetics to level 4 and a set of +4 implants? If not, train Cybernetics to 4 and I will throw you the cash to buy a full set of +4 implants which will help with training time.
