Its kicked off in our local old mans conservative pub, a bunch of labourites went in and are on facebook calling for people to smash all the windows.

Embattle is right. The country has no appetite for sixth form Marxism. Any left leaning centrist party would have prevented the outcome of the referendum at best, would have won in 2017 or this time at worst. Momentum has so much to answer for, but they sadly won't.

Tories just took Blyth Valley, Labour stronghold since its creation in 1950 and was a mining town.

Aye, people are voting for personalities, it's like the fucking x-factor now.

the irony is, the silly fuckers that are swinging this for the conservatives are the ones that are going to get fucked the most.

Indeed, but as I've said multiple times even though Boris is a tit and the conservatives managed to roll grenades into their own bunker more than once that is just how unpalatable JC and his cohorts really were.

The nice lady who gives me a sports message voted remain in the ref and normally votes Lib Dem, she objected to not acknowledging the result of the ref and now just wanted it done but she also disliked Jo Swinson for some reason thus she planned to vote for the Tories.
Something about Jo Swinson that the more i saw her the more she irritated me.

second only to the poison dwarf in scotland.

Also the best bit is leave voting areas kicking remain voting MPs that supposedly represented them.
If you represent an area represent their views not your own. Tbh

i would support that if it was a remain or leave vote.

And with that, I'm done with politics for now. It's just making me angry now, angry that so many people in this country are so fucking selfish and gullible that they'd elect a party responsible for 130,000+ deaths, a nearly 3000% rise in foodbank use, cuts so drastic to the police, fire services and NHS that it's had such a negative impact on society.

Newspapers are literally as of right running headline "the greatest democracy in the world" - a far cry from it. This country is full of fucking fools voting on an X-factor contestant rather than seeing the bigger picture.

Whatever happens in the next 5 years, this country deserves every little bit of it. Every death that was preventable from now on is on your heads, any of you fuckers that voted Conservative and I stand by that.

And by all means, respond, I want you to respond... you probably won't though, cowards generally skulk in the shadows waiting for drama to pass.

There is no need to get stressed or angry - it is what it is - the result is awful especially for those at risk

I know, I shouldn't it was to be expected.. it just makes my blood boil seeing how little people care about the lower end of society, it makes me sick to the stomach. Selfish cunts.

They all want their Brexit because they think its somehow going to fix everything and stop all the brown people from showing up, its sad really.

Has to be seen as a huge failure by opposition parties too, not just a conservative win, how on earth this incompetence has been allowed to go on for so long without being challenged is baffling.

Lets hope they can come up with someone better than Corbyn or Swinson for the task, my fear is we end up with a lefty Trump-a-like rather than an attempt at sanity

It is terrible BUT this is what they wanted .... it is a clear majority

The public have voted for Brexit and for right wing politics - we will now see how it plays out

As for Jo Swinson - The more she spoke the more I became irritated - her lost seat doesn’t surprise me

Well, they've made their beds, they can all lie in them. None of them have the right to cry about anything until the next GE.

Yes..I presume they have been slowly replaced by young Tory voters, Boris has better remember, they can vote him out just as easily.

Are they? I'm not sure that's true at all. Johnson is demonstrably one of the worst human beings ever to stand for office in the UK, and Corbyn-brand politics still couldn't beat him. This is 1983 all over again, and for exactly the same political reasons.

This election gave people two utterly terrible choices. and people have held their noses and voted for the devil they know. Its tragic, but I very much doubt Boris' personality was a vote-winner.

So, any bets on a date for dissolution of the United Kingdom? I'd say the jig will be up by 2023-24.

He is not even a gracious winner. Have some kind of dignity.
He must think he is still at Uni with his mates in a pub.
