2. Sort out light issues

Evolution, by definition, cannot happen over a single generation. So you're talking shit. Again.


If you want an example including moths, because you think they're somehow magic, the peppered moth has been found to evolve quite quickly in response to environmental pressures - normally white with black specks, it evolved over the course of 50 or so years to be mostly black - because the sooty city walls it tended to alight on meant that it stood out like a sore thumb. The blacker ones were much more likely to survive (not get eaten) to mate - so that gene was passed down through generations - at least 50 generations as they live max. 1 year.

Of course it matters little now - they're in real trouble: Numbers have dropped ~70% since the 1960s. So much for the next 50 years of "evolution" eh?

It's because complex animals can't quickly evolve their way out of chemicals and physical killing on an industrial scale.
